Mikey being .... Mikey was fine and he had by far the best fight moves of anyone outside of Hun. He reminds me more of Jackie Chan everytime he fights.

Overall, a good solid episode and nice for April to take a backseat for a bit to give that space for Casey to develop.

That said, I have to say that the foreshadowing at the end was about as subtle as a brick to the face.

Probably the poorest Crognard ep as well

On plus note, great to see Rahzar and Fishface again.

Hmm good point. We never saw him fight one of the turtles, for all we know, they could mop the floor with him.

I really enjoyed this episode, and I'm actually loving this new Hun. The only thing that really annoyed me was Casey himself, honestly...

And for most casual fans of the show, the dark raph arc will be a surprise....only people who frequent the boards know of this. I'm sure a lot of kids who watch this have no idea

True, Donnie has had enough focus, guess I was just thinking that if the word was spilled to Shredder, he'd take control of him to force him to make a retromutagen. I'd say any of the Turtles should be mind-controlled as each have their own pros. Either take Mikey or Raph as of all four brothers, they aren't too focused on in the main story, especially Raphael. (He is my favorite Turtle, I completely agree for this now)

That whole Shredder on the motorcycle thing..... Now it hit me. As a crimeboss Shredder should have had a limo or some kind of pimpin ride instead, driven by one of the Foot... and then have the others surrounding it on their bikes for protection.

I'd say it was done so that Casey could clearly see it was Shredder and it would give him reason to follow... but it still looked lame as hell.

That was a very nice episode. Shredder, Hun, Casey having a chance to shine, the fight scene and ending. I really enjoyed it.

I'm glad the Kraang are gone. (for now) Shredder just makes for a far more interesting villain. (Although I did like Kraang subprime, he was different)



Only thing I didn't like was the scene were the turtles were laughing at Casey. Man, I found that painful to watch. For having gone through a lot and having spend months in the farmhouse together I found this scene just mean. Casey was vulnerable and they just piled on him. Even Leo went along making fun of him.

And I was surprised Raph didn't go after Casey after he left. He should have known by now Casey would only want to prove himself even more after this. I know this scene was meant to be funny, but it rubbed me the wrong way. It just makes the turtles look like jerks.

Actually I have to agree with this. A teasing smirk is one thing, but it did feel excessive - Mean is just the right word (One of them could have at least tried to apologise when he stormed off)

I just realized something:
Dark Raph is happening, right? Well, what if they did a City Fall/City At War type thing for the finale? It'd make sense, considering they did spend more time talking about territories (Russian, Asian, etc.).

Overall I liked this episode. The writers are using some really convenient plot points to move the story along though, such as the chemical company link to the cheesy balls. It's a kids show after all so I ignore it and enjoy watching.

Nah, I was getting that vibe too, especially when Hun fall into one of the tanks. I really thought something bad was going to effect him.

It was an okay episode, I do like Hun but he really needed his own episode to be introduced as a villain.

Ok, I want to comment some things and ask for a little help.

1º) How can the turtles just return to the old lair just like that? Are they crazy?!! The Kraang are obviously going to return, and since they know where the lair is, is like pinting a bluuseye on your head!! Besides, who says the Kraang didn't share the situation of the lair to the Shredder?

2º) Casey has been a real stupidhead taking so much risk in this episode. But I have to admit it, if he didn't, the good guys possibly wouldn't have discovered the truth.

3º) I really don't want to see a "Dark Raphael" arc or stuff, and I really think the whole mind control serum is going to a catastrophic weapon against the good guys. I really hope they will manage to found a counter formula against that thing.

4º) I need a little help about something. Did the turtles discover in this episode that Shredder has Karai prisioner again? I'm not entirely sure about it. Please, tell me if you know.

There is one thing that really bothers me about Shredder's mindset with having mutants as henchmen. Wouldn't be difficult for these mutants to lead gangs if the gangs can't get over the fact that they are mutants? That's kind of short sighted, right?

Given their pure muscle power, the gangs are probably too scared of them to argue.


As for me, I loved the episode itself, but Hun? Not a big fan of this version. Cheesy (pardon the pun) knock-off of Bruce Lee? Check. Well, it was only a matter of time, considering we already had a Chuck Norris clone.

My only other gripe was Mikey and the moldy pizza. That was so dumb/gross that I just couldn't "stomach" the idea that he'd DO that. Also, Shredder is a biker?! Who knew?!
