I've just finished reading the live report on IGN and allow me to ask: What the f*ck was that?! They had nothing, absolutely NOTHING surprising or interesting to show. I was actually looking forward to this stupid conference...

They didn't even show off the controller! The announcement of 20 years of Nintendo game dlc is awesome, but that was about it. I'm still going to watch the conference before I pass final judgement, but it sounds like it was disappointing.

No word on Mario 128 either. They did say that a new Mario, Zelda and Smash Bros. game are in developement for the revolution.

They need some.

Iwata was up there giving his "teh industry is teh d00med!" speach, again. He'd pause, wait for people to applaud, and it never happend.

IMHO, Nintendo was doing EVERYTHING right up until this show.

And yeah, Smash Bros for Revolution is gonna be a launch title, and it's going to be online, just what everyone wanted. But you know what? I want to SEE the game, I want the press to be able to PLAY the game so we can hear all about it from TMB.

It might still happen, you never know, but at this point I find it highly unlikely. It just doesn't seem like Nintendo not to have a trick up their sleeve, though.

And I hope they didn't seriously think the Gameboy Micro was a trick up the sleeve... I won't be buying it. The only reason I upgraded to an SP was for the NES edition. I want my portable Gamecube, Nintendo, and I want it now.

The Revolution, looks like a computer disc drive. The other 2 consoles, like odd compared to the Revolution.

The Revolution, is the only one small enough to store easily.

Was the Zelda Trailer, running on the revolution engine.

Actually People can play it on Revolution, if they want to next year.

Is revolution supposed run gamecube, discs or not.

I read downloadable, content meaning it's not backwards.

Making people pay for games, they already have that is a stupid move.

It also said you can download games, from other nintendo consoles why not just release classics discs for old games instead.

The Zelda game is for Gamecube, not Revolution.

Where can we view the trailer (except IGN) with Quicktime?

I noticed something behind the images of Revolution that they showed on screen... it looks like a panel on the system comes off, or moves, or something, to reveal 4 Gamecube controller ports. That'd make sense...

Also, Iwata specificaly said 'ControlerS'. with an S. Looks like Revolution WILL use more then one controler.

I followed the thing on IGN, but they didn't say anything worthwhile. After a damn year I'd like to know what this 'Revolution' is going to be.

And another GBA? What the f*ck, Nintendo?

The 'Zelda' trailer was one of the biggest dissappointments of my life. I'm sure I'll get a ton of sh*t for this but I did not like it at all.

Yeah, I'm bitter. Cheer me up, Nintendo. Please.

Well, one thing that cheers me up Mecha is that PS3 is some of the ugliest hardware I've ever seen. Does it REALLY lay down horizontaly with that curve? And where's the air intake? Seven processors are gonna be a bitch to cool.

Apparently, you people misunderstood me. I was "talking" about the looks of the systems, not the games.

I still have some hope that Nintendo will show off more stuff in the next days. If they don't... well, way to screw up this E³. Sony and MS must be laughing their asses off. Not even the new Zelda trailer looked as impressive as I hoped.

This year's E3 has been a total flop for Nintendo. Way to go, guys. What's sad is I got the most entertainment out of the Sony conference. That sh*t was nuts.

I think Microsoft's the first round's winner. They have a beautiful new system with lots of promising games. Sony's showing was not as interesting IMO but the new Killzone looks so incredibly awesome I can't put it in words. That video was soooo intense!

Bah. I'm really disapointed at Nintendo's show. Not much usefull info on revolution besides the emulation part, and only interesting game they showed was Zelda, AGAIN. No, I do not want 50 new "Mario Insert Sport Here" games. Where was Mario 128?

Xbox360 looks like a crappy generic PC tower. The controler looks like utter ****. How is anyone going to actually use the trackball, hm? If I wanted to play games on a generic looking PC tower with a trackball, I'd be a PC gamer.

And the games? Wow. More of the same. Thanks, but I'll pass. Kameo would have been nice... five years ago. Other then that, they all look generic.

Nintendo might have bombed, but that's only because they didn't show much of anything. Microsoft showed their full hand, and the majority of people I've spoken with agree that their unveiling was a total flop.

As for the PS3, I'll be impressed when they can get some actual game demos running on the actual hardware. Then again, this is Sony, who can't even get PSP demo units out to stores.
