EDIT: Ah, I just did it anyway. *shrug*

Leatherhead freaks, and falls on his knees on the floor, Donnie is gonna attack him, when he gets hit with a tranquilizer dart. The next shot reveals that Leo was the one who tranked him. "Donnie, I'm sorry, but this is for your own good." Don comes *growl snarl* down the catwalk at Leo, who walks slowly toward him, steadily shooting tranquilizers (and looking like he's really steeled himself to do this, it's hard for him), until, after eight more (!), poor Don finally gets sluggish and collapses. Leo crouches at his side, rubs his shell, "It's gonna be all right, Donnie". (blub! )

Next scene has Donnie floating in a containment unit. Baxter says: "Hmm. Donatello's body appears to be breaking down at a fantastic rate, due to secondary stage mutations caused by the outbreak accelerant. He doesn't have much time. The animal was right," he adds, snidely, referring, I think, to Leatherhead, who growls at him, not amused. Leatherhead says, "Leonardo, this is wrong. We cannot leave Donatello's fate to these devils. Stockman cannot be trusted. And him!" he indicates Bishop, "if you only knew what he was capable of!" His eyes change. He's not a happy croc.

Raph chimes in. "Leatherhead's right, Leo! Bishop's the enemy! He's the one that caused the outbreak in the first place!"

Bishop says, "Stockman created the genetic accelerant on my orders. What you call the 'outbreak virus' is an unintended side-effect of... one of my operations."

Leo says, "Do you have a cure?"

Silence. Bishop looks at the guys. The guys look at Bishop. Bishop subtly looks at Baxter. Baxter shakes his head minutely. Bishop looks back at the guys. "Yes," he lies, with a smug smile (hisssss!). "But as I said earlier, I need something from you." The guys exchange narrow-eyed glances, and Leo says, "Name it."

"A simple errand, really. There is an item I require. A relic, that may prove crucial to my work. I want you to retrieve it for me."

"Retrieve it? From where?"

"New York. In fact, I believe you know the woman who currently holds it. Her name is... Karai."

Everyone goes, gasp! The end.
You forgot the part where they all get ice cream.

I think I'll just drop out of this discussion. The most 'insulting' phrase in my previous posts was "Earth's calling Putrescent" which wasn't an insult at all - just a more original way to say "Get real". But yeah - if you anyhow felt insulted with my remarks, I'm sorry for that. Didn't really mean to hurt you.

@ Masked Ninja - yeah, you are right. This show is more complex and mature than an ordinary kid's show. that's true. I really enjoy watching it, even though I'm almost 23. But I like its fighting scenes, the 'Mirage comic' basis and because it's frigging TMNT show for God's sake - and TMNT are one of my best childhood memories. Despite all that, I'm not even trying to cheat myself I am the prime target for TMT creators. "Cause TMNT is like candy or chocolate - could be enjoyed by everyone (and is secretly consumed by the grown-ups), nevertheless, it is still tailored to the taste and needs of one certain market segment.

It is a show for everyone I think we can all safely say that unless you'd like to think that we all have the minds of children? I mean even if some of us do some times with all our little fights and things...
this is how I look at it
it's a kids show cause of goofey things like mike
it's a teen show because of the drama and action
it's a show for older fans as well because of the deep stry lines

what am I trying to say the same thing masked ninja & aska are saying and I've been saying all along this is not a show for just one set type of age it's a show for everyone like an action figure when it says ages 5 & up yea we are that up

Well, bible, there are different ways to convey your intentions. Perhaps you could not have your words run into each other since it really makes you come off as droning on and on about certain topics, therefore resulting in miscommunication.

And it's pretty obvious this show isn't simply for kids, what with all us mature adults bickering over it on the internet.

Like little kids, too.

Not that it's a bad thing, though.

Actually I don't think its that at all....I think Peter Laird just wanted them to make it good enough for him to enjoy, and because of his position, they do.

I believe Michaelangelo himself stated, "I'm for kids" and proceeded to ask, "Are you for kids?"

this is a little off topic of what you guys are talking about, but has anyone contacted Dan about the cut of the episode where Baxter almost dies? It was referenced a couple of times in the last couple eps.

That may very well explain Baxter'x current death wish. A life without ice cream isn't much of a life, now is it?
