Tell me one episode of the OT that had as much fighting as "The Shredder Strikes Back" or "Return To New York" or "City At War". Just one, and I will take it all back. HOWEVER, do not dare try to tell me that the turtles throwing a pizza at their enemies is a fight. I didn't like the OT for this exact reason. In fact, the OT is what killed my interest in TMNT and so I turned to X-Men instead because I couldn't stand the slapstick, silly humor any longer. You need to stop this whole "holier than thou" bullsh!t you vomit out on this forum on a daily basis. I HATED THE ORIGINAL TOON! I DESPISED IT. ACCEPT IT AND LET IT HAUNT YOUR NIGHTMARES THAT PEOPLE CHOOSE TO LIKE DIFFERENT THINGS, NO MATTER HOW AMAZING YOU THINK IT IS! BECAUSE THEY WERE GETTING TOO DAMN CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL TOON! And if you have forgotten how I feel about the OT, please feel free to read my first paragraph to remind yourself. It hasn't changed, it won't ever change, accept it.

I don't know about the ethnic makeup of the development team, though...I did try to do a bit of research after Mecha Cow's comment. Best I could do was IMDB and that's not helpful since it only gives names.

I don't think it is, I'm trying to make the point if that if Nick is going to continue the trend, maybe they could do so without the baggage of what came before it.

I'm pretty sure I said somewhere else that one could easily make the same case against Mirage, and possible argue that since it was a parody of Frank Miller's work...which is a treasure trove of ism in and of itself, that that might get it off the hook. But I'll be damned if I can remember where I went into all of that.

We've come to the conclusion that the turtles may or may not be cloned from a single turtle, brainwashed to give them different personalities via hypnosis and shock therapy, and we've come to the conclusion that we are all childish by posting opinions on a message board dedicated to mainly a children's franchise with a few awesome comics thrown in between.
