As for me, I loved the episode itself, but Hun? Not a big fan of this version. Cheesy (pardon the pun) knock-off of Bruce Lee? Check. Well, it was only a matter of time, considering we already had a Chuck Norris clone.

My only other gripe was Mikey and the moldy pizza. That was so dumb/gross that I just couldn't "stomach" the idea that he'd DO that. Also, Shredder is a biker?! Who knew?!
I guess but thats kinda like having bigfoot as your lawyer. He probably speaks so eolquently but how on Earth are you going to hide the fact that Bigfoot is your lawyer. I know that the crime underworld is different but people will still talk. People will always talk.

I find it funny that they never really thinking of being undercover from the government. I keep getting a feeling that there going to be a ET scene with people jumping through the windows and taking them out their beds or something

Thank god I'm not mutant because I'm already paranoid with the way that I am now.

Having Bigfoot as a lawyer is a different sort of thing, though. We're talking about criminals, who usually have an unspoken rule that you don't talk about your leaders, or betray the gang- unless you REALLY want to shorten your lifespan drastically. Having some really strong and menacing brutes who work for someone as ruthless and cruel as Shredder as your leader is probably akin to living in a country run by an iron-fisted dictator- you just don't say or DO anything to annoy them, if you want to keep your skin intact. There might be rumors, sure, but no one is going to go against them or talk about them where they might find out. As for the government- you know what they say about snitches.....

That was my first impression, too. The only thing I didn't like was Mikey eating rotten stuff. Disgusting! Overall very good Casey Jones episode. Fishface calling Donnie a weirdo was funny, he also need a mirror so he realize he is even more weird than Donnie.

I liked this episode, it felt a little like the 2003 turtles with the introduction of Hun. The comments between Donny and Fishface was comical.

Good episode all of the action was well done.
It's good to see them move back into the lair.

Especially since I was really happy about the inclusion of The Mighty Mutanimals from last week, this was a really good episode. Hun was introduced very well and I already like him more than the 2003 version. Admittedly, I didn't watch the 2003 cartoon, but I like that he wasn't a huge tank-like man.

This was a great episode for Casey. He had a lot of dialogue that reminded me of Raph's lines from the first two movies and TMNT: "Doing what you should be. Helping the city. Stopping crime.", "Evil never takes down time!", and "I don't need you guys." I thought that was all pretty neat.

I thought it was cool that Shredder referred to all of the different crime factions that he already has the allegiances of to the gangster Don Vizioso. Russian Mob (Steranko). Asian Gangs (Hun). South Americans (Xever). Pretty cool to me and it reminded me of the Dark Legion factions or the Sub-Bosses from the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Comics for some reason.

And "Never tell Crognard the odds!", was a very Star Wars thing to do huh? It's funny we introduce Hun into this series while they basically use a Han Star Wars quote all in the same episode.

I loved when the music kicked on and Casey delivered, "The class is pain 101, your instructor is Casey Jones." Very awesome and historic line. The location for the Shredder vs. Casey fight really reminded me of the area in The Dark Knight Rises where Batman and Bane first fought.

I also really liked that Raph and Tiger Claw were fighting one-on-one this time! I could see the foreshadowing of Dark Raph through Tiger Claw's quote, "You need to control your anger!" which I thought was cool coming from Tiger Claw. With the added information of Shredder's mind control formula, it seems only a matter of time until Dark Raph emerges.

Yeah, Mikey, there really should be limits to what you're willing to eat. And no, you won't regret it in the morning, you'll regret it right now. Have fun in the bathroom for the next hour or two.

I did sort of wonder if that Mikey eating the rotten food was a reference to the 2K3 episode in season 1 when they returned to lair and Mikey drank spoiled milk.

Mikey does seem to eat a lot of disgusting food, the pizza he made in Pizza face, the pizza he ate that come from the dumpster and a pizza slice with dead bugs on it from under his bed.

Good episode but very stupid of Casey to think he could beat them.

Hun is ok. Kinda stereotypical but fits I guess.

Mikey is just awful in this series. Had to say it. Not just for eating rotten food. They really went out of the way to make him the overly-silly-guy that alot of cartoons do today. He didn't seem so much in season 1.

Voted for Crognard, but how awesome was "The class is Pain 101!"?

Speaking of votes, did Machias intend to put "Shredder's motorcycle provided by Orange County Choppers... " as part of the vote options, but unintentionally put it in the vote question instead?

I noticed she did that for the past episodes too.

This was a fun episode, I did gag a little when Mikey ate that rotten pizza. Does anyone know why iTunes is taking so long to post the new episode?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. I started to think I was overreacting.

I agree with what you said. I think what surprised/irked me the most was that they just let Casey go. No apology or saying they're were just joking. They know Casey is serious about fighting crime, and after all they've been through together their reaction just feels like a kick in the gut.

In a way I especially expected better from Leo.

Another solid episode. I really enjoy seeing Casey take the lead in an episode and his little diary entries.

A bit dissapointed by the McGuffin that was the cheese formula but it worked so i'll let it go.

The gang references were interesting to see - I like seeing Shredder consolidating his forces. Much like in IDW with the savate et al.

It was kinda painful watching Casey get his butt handed to him 90% of the episode, but he did get a good shot in on Shredder with the taser. Shredder is weak against electricity with all that metal on him!

I know Shredder on the bike is lame, but how else do you expect to get around all those killer potholes the Kraang left?!

Mmm, radioactive glowing molten cheese-like product...

How does Donnie know it's mind-control juice by looking at it? (same way 2k3 Don knew that alien floor-wax and mud were a volatile combination) Well, obviously, he looked at it through the microscope, and every molecule is engraved with "CONSUME" "OBEY" and "SHREDDER FOR PREZ". Given Donnie's chemical expertise, I don't think it's a stretch to say he'd recognize some compounds on sight and know what their applications would be as far as mind-altering drugs.

I will be kind of miffed if it's a "one shot and you're forever controlled" deal. I can picture Raph mentally fighting against it... though I'd also like to see him "teaming up" with kindred spirit Xever while he's under its influence. Might be Xever's chance to get out from under Shredder's thumb... he's not in a very satisfying position these days, with Rahzar pulling rank on him.

Also, man, were those some heavy freakin' chemicals! ... or just a lead-lined box, maybe?

And they really packed this ep full of characters! Jeez!

Pretty awesome episode! I absolutely love the new Hun, I hope he stays human. That way he won't look out of place when surrounded by his gang members.

And man oh man, he's Bruce Lee in animated form, how amazing is that!! Kudos to the animators, he's hot too.

I laughed cause all Donnie cares about was his lab. Literally NO ONE gives a **** about Timothy, I love it.

And the Italian mafia fat guy is called Don Vizioso, he's voiced by Brian Bloom.
But nobody mentioned him or even interacted with him, so that's nice. He's just another prop in the background.

I belive Shredder has a motorcycle just to please toystores...

But it was a good episode. It should have been more like this in the first seasons, and then bring in more science fiction. I just hope Shredder will not get overused now when the Kraang are gone.

Ok guys I going to be defending Mikey again as people are complaing about him in this episode but not when he was eating the rotten food because that was disgusting.

But I really hope people read this, this will change your minds over Mikey.

Mikey's behaviour in this episode was due to eating the Cheese balls and he became really hyper. Why? because of Red Dye 42 was in them. Red Dye 42 is mentioned in the episode and it was on the Cheeseball package too.

Red Dye 42 is actually a reference to Red Dye 40, it's a food colouring. Apparently it's mentioned a lot in health news sites they say Red Dye 40 causes health problems and cause hyperactivity in kids especially kids with ADHD and experts want FDA to ban foods containing them.

So thats why Mikey was acting so hyper in the episode because of the Red Dye in the Cheesballs and I applaud the writers for doing there homework on this.

Just put Red Dye 40 (and link it with ADHD) in the search engine you come up with results.
