Okay, now I'm seriously getting ticked at some people here. I don't care if you liked TNM or not, but things are getting out of hand with the bashing. Despite what your opinions are, there are MANY reasons that TNM was cancelled, and not all of them have to do with the content of the show. In fact, I recall that TNM was even beating PR's for awhile in ratings.

I'm not good on dates, but wasn't the time of TNM's canellation about the time they started letting networks air shows they owned? Why go to another comapny for your shows when you can produce your own and get 100% of the profits?

I'm just asking for people to give a little respect to those who DO like TNM.

Thank You Kali I agree 100% I honestly think anything of the tmnt should not be allowed to be bashed on this site....after all this is like the only place to talk about turtles without 100000 other cartoon and comic fans coming in telling you that your fave show is stupid..but I guess it does happen allot here to....frankly I liked the next mutation mostly for those so called corny bad guys...I guess I'm corny cause I loved Simon Bonesteal, & Doctor Quease who is my personal fave on the show....it truely is a shame this show didn't last longer...I really wanted all of that stuff to happen...
thanks for sticking up for something that most of are afraid to because we'd get our brains bashed in...

I agree with Kali and Putrescent.

And need I remind everyone that not only were the ratings on The Next Mutation very good, but the fan reaction in the community at the time of airing was overwhelmingly positive. I know. I was there.

Beleive me, I was there, I marked out for a LIVE ACTION TURTLES SHOW as well, because it had never been done before, then I realised how absolutey s*ite it was.

Basically, the bashing of "Next Abortion" is deserving to most people, sorry if fans of that show have a constant problem with it, but when they post such things as "I fail to see why it sucked" you WILL get a reaction explaining WHY it sucked

Fine. And you'll in turn get reactions explaining what we liked about it, and they'll be just as valid and should be treated with the same respect as anything anyone else has to say.

Whether anyone feels that the bashing is deserved doesn't justify the level of negativity that has become all too common on this board. Not in the least.

As far as "most people" feeling that way, don't anyone presume for an instant that you can speak for everyone else. Say whatever you want, but make it cleat that it's your opinion. because I'll be damned if I let that voice be the only one that ends up being heard.

And you'll all just have to deal with it. Ha ha.

That's ok, I never said I had a problem with that, simply the way most of the defenders were leaping in complaining about the level of "bashing", we have the right to spit in the eye of this show if we want to.

I didn't hate The Next Mutation. Actually I rather enjoyed it. Was I there to see the PR/TMNT cross-over? You bet I was! The voice's weren't bad and it was just a goofy show that was fun to watch. The voices were provided by Ocean Westwood (famous for such shows as seasons 1 and 2 Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing, Inuyasha, X-Men: Evolution, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, and TOO many other shows to even mention). Mike was played by Kirby Morrow (Miroku, Trowa Barton, Rad from TF: Armada, Cyclops), Raph was played by Matt Hill (Carlos from TF: Armada, Havok on X-Men: EVO), Bonesteel was played by Scott McNeil (Duo Maxwell, Koga, Wolverine, Piccolo, and WAY too many other roles to mention), and there were some more notables but I don't remember them all that well.

It was certainly the worst TMNT show yet, but compared to the old toon and the new toon... a lot of shows don't stack up. It certainly wasn't the worst live action series to come from Saban. No sir... that honor likely belongs to Big Bad Beetle Borgs.
