Even better, you could slap on TransDimensional Turtles at the beginning and you have a 1 hour, 20 minute movie.
This is definetly gonna be compared to Turtles Forever. |

Hopefully they treat the 80s turtles well with the whole treating them as slightly weaker since i thought they did a decent job with transdimensional.
I get the idea that they didn't fight much in the 80s toon but the idea is still meant to be that they are ninjas lol |

Probably a pizza joke in the middle, the 80s team using the environment around them as opposed to their weapons but nothing belittling |

I thought they made the80's turtles and shredder look stupid in turtles forever but I only watched it once and haven't seen enough of either show to make that judgment really. Either way I'm still looking forward to this crossover. |

Honestly, I don't think you can really do an accurate version of the 80s turtles without acknowledging the fact that the show really was incredibly goofy lol.

Very true. Its like people have never watched the show that bring it back. The Turtles never been in a deadly situation? They fight sentiment pizza? Turtles Forever was even contradicted as Krang wanted to destroy all reality when he was opposed to that in Turtles Forever. He wanted to rule it while Ch'rell wanted to destroy it. Yet in Trans-dimensional Turtles Krang takes on a smaller version of Ch'rell's scheme. There is also the fact the '87 Turtles and Mirage Turtles do not acknowledge each other like they met before. Sure, the '87 Turtles were goofy b-movie loving and pizza obsessed, but were dedicated and equipped. The main problem it had were the censors of a sensitive era.

When i first watched turtles forever i remembered it all wrong and thought they were actually like that in the 80s toon but then i watched a few episodes of the 80s show and realised they were really over exaggerated.
Transdimension i thought was way more respectful because they at least made an effort to get the characters down right even if they throw in some playful mockery. |

The only time I thought any 80s turtle acted like how they were in Turtles Forever was Leonardo from the episode "Leonardo Lightens Up".

Yeah, that's a great point. Leo is pretty out of whack in that episode. I love that episode, by the way. It's great when Splinter beats him at skateboarding, lol. |

Besides the three-episode arc, the DVD also includes Lone Rat and Cubs (and the ICK music video).
