Canadian Turtle : Me work for Mirage? Nah afraid not, not nearly good enuf for that, thanx for the compliments all the same

As for a sneak, haven't got anything at the mo. but I have just finished drawing and inking page 29 tonight. I hope it will be finished tomorrow at the latest.

I disagree, Tony. I think you got the necessary talent hands down. Have you ever tried sending in some submissions to test the water? Looking forward to your next update with great anticipation!

hi again. Thanx for saying that Adam, I did try a submission once to which was probably Britain's only comic worth submitting to, 2000AD (featuring most famously Judge Dredd). You can see my Dredd submission on my webpage.
I sent it ages ago but it was rejected. They sent me a really nice letter saying that they liked my art and I should try somewhere, else but my style was too anime for them. Never did try again though

Forgive any typos etc here ive just caught some horrible virus

and Im typing this as fast as possible... the other thing I wanted to say is that the update might not be tonight. Im gonna take some medicine and try to finish it as its nearly done.
I want to get it posted too since all u guys have been waiting so patiently.
Ill try my best.

Yeah, sleep well, Tony. I second the motion to send some Turtles samples to Dan Berger at fanmail@ninjaturtles.com. Dan is a great TMNT artist in his own right and mans the web server. Maybe you could send it in an inquire as to Mirage might have a use for your talents. You wouldn't have to get your expectations up too high, but the worse they could tell you is no.

One question...on the cover page for Turncoat has Raph got an eye-patch or is it just the shadow? Does he lose his eye in the comic?

Hi all. Just coming out of one of the worst bouts of flu that Ive had in years and I managed to drag myself to the computer to finish the page today. Its posted and viewable on my site now. More soon.

Thanx all for the recommendation to submit to mirage. Maybe I will try again in the future. After Ive got Turncoat outta the way

Anyways, I have to start drawing frequently again to get back to my peak.

x Raphael xx: As for the front cover, that kinda eye shading is inspired by the Japanese Animator Masami Ōbari. He did the Fatal Fury series and movie. He always does that eye thing and I think its just the eye in darkness with a slight light shining on the side. So no, not to fear, Raph does not lose his eye.

Anyways thats all for now.

I have to say, Tony, that I really like your art style. I've seen many styles of drawing the TMNT, and yours is one of the few that looks slick and attractive.
