Chris Daughtry came in third place on American Idol I think two seasons ago? Or maybe it was just last year... I forget.

I bought just the Prince Caspian soundtrack.

Last week I realized that I haven't bought any CDs in months so I ordered these:

Gutter Twins - Saturnalia
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Buckethead - Pepper's Ghost
Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan - Ballad of the Broken Seas

Those will do for a while.

I've been short on the cash front so I haven't been able to buy anything in a few weeks. My last pickup was:

Amebix - No Sanctuary: The Spiderleg Recordings 12" vinyl with a bonus 7"

Well, my copy of James Blunt's "All the Lost Souls" LP on vinyl just arrived yesterday at my doorstep. I've been enjoying that a bit. It's a gatefold sleeve! I haven't bought a new gatefold LP in years!

weezer - s/t (the red album) Deluxe Edition (UK import)
Of the sixteen tracks, there are only two I really don't care for. Both are bonus tracks.

Just picked up the following at Half Price Books ($6 each):
  • Tears for Fears - Shout: The Very Best of Tears for Fears
  • Kylie Minogue - Fever
  • The Bravery - The Bravery
  • Godsmack - Awake
Uhh...I think I bought one or two more but I can't remember right now.

I found Mariah Carey's debut album for fifty cents at a thrift shop (it's on an audiocassete tape-it's so ancient).

Maybe it will be an antique one day.

I got 'em for a combined total of $50 at Amazon.com's marketplace. RotJ was still in its shrinkwrap, but the other has a fractured CD tray. Both are in perfect playing condition though.
