Exactly. They'd still be hard to get after the preorder period ends, so scalpers would still be happy on eBay, but dammit, at least we'd have a chance to get them at retail, even if it's only a 7-10 day window.

A friend located the Frogs today in my area and snagged me a set. So now I have frogs before the Disguise set even arrived in my city.

Finally got the disguise pack... I kept making lowball offers on eBay and Facebook and someone eventually actually accepted at $180... Considering the gas I already used looking for them, I can't complain at that.
On the bummer side, Mikey and Raph's shoulder and elbow joints were completely locked up and took a good bit of hot water to get moving, and my Leo has blue splatter all over his left arm. Beyond that, though, it's an awesome pack. |

So is Neca dropping one more 2 pack this Friday or was the 2000 Raincoat O' Neil the last one we are seeing for a while?

Last Friday was the last one we were told about. 3 weeks of cartoon stuff is all we were told, and that's over.

I was pretty sure April was the last of the pre-orders. If we somehow get a new drop on Friday I'd be shocked.

The point I was making was to counter the claim that the action figure community is made up of people who feel compelled to buy things... despite the cost.
For me, cost always enters the equation. And I daresay it does for IMJ also, hence the reason he made his claim that I was responding to. I'm prepared to pay Super7 prices on SOME of their figures, because those figures appeal to me. I feel they are worth it. I LIKE them. There are plenty I passed on because I didn't like them, and I couldn't justify the cost. Last edited by Otter; 04-29-2021 at 08:08 AM. |

Just for comparison, reference or decision making going forward.....
Current Big Bad Toy Store NECA Diorama | $109.99 + $4 to ship NECA's Pre-Order "Animated" Diorama | $149.99 + $40 to ship "Animated" variant or not, strongly considering cancelling my order on principle alone. |

I have a positive feeling that Neca will get the license to do Last Ronin figures. Just a guess based on context and the way I've seen Randy talk about it.
But if they do, I just hope they find a way to let you store all the weapons on Mikey at once. A cloth hood would also be really cool. I can imagine Mikey being a deluxe figure, and including extra accessories tied to the story - Splinters book, Fugitoid head, all brother's weapons, etc. while the rest of the line could be standard release. Each turtle has at least one story-specific outfit so there is definitely room to play. I need Donatello with that hat. |

So when are Mondo and Kerma going to be released?
The next one is Napoleon Bonafrog and Attila Frog, correct ? Likely early June.
