Bebop was always one of my fav characters in the TMNT universe, but I'm really not feeling this new design. Too skinny, and wayyy too stylised.
Rocksteady looks great, but they've killed Bebop right there. Then again I always think to myself that people aren't giving the new movie designs a chance, so I'll just wait and see. Maybe I'll get used to this skinny punk... Face is good though!

I'm surprised these guys are here this soon. I have a feeling they will be in one of the next upcoming episodes, maybe even in Baxterfly since it deals with mutagen. |

Plus giving Shredder an army of mutants is better than just re-using the same two. |

Very cool concepts. I wonder how their new look will be reflected in their personalities? For example their new designs don't really lend them to having a big, bumbling buffoon like way about them.

It'd be cool if they actually come from the 1980's show.
I mean Tigerclaw is there and I'm going to assume they have to get him back to the Nick Toon some how. It could explain why they went missing in the later Red Sky episodes. |

Wow, not what I was expecting at all. I am with some of you here...Bebop is WAY too skinny. I do like that he looks so different from Rocksteady, but they could have made him bigger than that. Or at least balance everything out. Bebop's head looks like it too hard for him to lift. Rocksteady looks pretty good.

Actually, these looks aren't half bad. I have a feeling that I'll like them in this show, even if I don't prefer them pulling from the OT series all the time. Bebop may be a little too skinny, but he'll portably have a cool style of fighting (like Xever). Rocksteady looks awesome

I'm diggin' these design a lot! I'm curious about the gold tie-in with RS. (On his fists and that mining hammer) I wish BB had at least a pot belly though, I don't really mind the slimming down.....oh and bring on the figures!
edit: I also wish RS look was as drastically different than BB's. Looks like they put more work into his look. Last edited by OrokuYoshiFilms; 05-01-2014 at 08:55 AM. |

I was never a fan of Bebop and Rocksteady in the OT. I hope they show up for only a couple of episodes at most, as I much prefer Xever and Bradford. But I might like the Nick versions of them better, who knows? I do like the designs.
I'm also wondering if they'll end up being a couple of mutated Purple Dragons. |

These are quite different from what I saw at Toy Fair. Aside from the poses (at TF they were straight-on), Rocksteady now has his tank top and his armour's been tweaked in both design and colour. Bebop's undergone a pretty huge change - he's much skinner (whereas the render I saw had him around the same size as RS), his mohawk & teeth are more prominent, and he's got a totally different outfit, rather than the classic black pants/red vest. They've also lost their tribal markings.
So it looks like either their designs have been changed, and I don't dig them at all. |

I love Rocksteady, strong and powerful but Bebop... is too skinny.
And why is he wearing like a Disco Boy ? |
