What's even more odd is a very old man, like 70+ with a woman in her 20s. A man of that age cant' even achieve an erection anymore, so what benefits does he exactly get from dating 20 year old? I know viagra exists, but wouldn't viagra kill a man that old?

He gets to say "Look at my trophy!" and she gets to say "Look! I'm gonna have a lot of money in like 6 months!" She's getting sex on the side as it is from several people closer to her own age, and I'm sure the older guy isn't so naive as to ignore that. He just wants to look at some firm t*ts for his last few days on Earth, he doesn't expect her to actually care about him or be faithful. Nobody's that stupid.

All relationships are ultimately based on self-interest, despite what people claim, so things like that always make perfect sense to me. Everyone simply uses another willing participant in exchange for mutual benefit. In the past, it was for social status; being in a relationship and starting a family was "right", not doing so brought shame on your family. Right now, it's because nobody can live comfortably on a single income. But it's always about living up to some standard and meeting societal expectations more than anything.

Given that, age really shouldn't factor into it much. Like yeah, it's "creepy" sometimes, if it's a large gap, but a 70-year old can fake-love a 20-year old just as well as a 20-year old can. We assign "creep" factor to things because we assume there are any relationships NOT based on two people using each other, but that's false. So either ALL relationships are "creepy", or none of them are.

He's an odd duck, that one. Although as he's gotten older he's finally started to smarten up and say that he's not sure he has a "true love" or anything like that.

I guess 87 divorces will do that. Maybe he should stop plucking 'em right outta high school? The cad. Just kidding, I totally don't care.

I mean, say you're in your 50s or 60s; who do you wanna see naked every day: a taut tanned 18-21 year old, or someone who can't do jumping jacks because it's a "health risk"? Take what you can get and more power to you, says I.

Fair enough

But tbh a 50 year old guy can still go. However a guy as old as Hugh Hefner was when he died? Nah.
