Target frequently has $25 off $100 toy sales. So you can probably wait for that and get them for ~ $150 total.

I don't regret paying for the SDCC set regardless of what happens. That's just silly.

My recollection was the set was $250. Shipping was also $25. Then after placing an order and paying in full, you get to wait weeks before they ship out. But yeah none of that matters.

Btw, if that is the case, I do sympathize with those who paid an arm and a leg for a supposedly limited product. My only advice is to try and be happy for all the fans who have wanted these badly and had no means of obtaining them before. Easier said than done but it may help you feel better.

I have a secret partner here who scalped me a COMPLETE collector's case for only $160 shipped, figures will be going up on eBay today as soon as it arrives

I will be keeping the empty case for when these two packs come to Target

I bought 2 during the NECA pre-sale. I just looked and total was $415.58. That is $207.79 a set. So it was about the same.

Plus for all we know it is a head knocker or something.

Plus, the manager at the GameStop by my job is a "buddy", I might be able to persuade him to stash a couple off to the side for me.

Side note, I feel obligated to mention that I personally have only ever had great experiences at GameStop, this one in particular. I have heard all the horror stories, but have zero of my own. I mean, I don't trade anything in, nor would I ever, so that's probably a factor, but still. Place treats me fine!

What's this about Target, now? They're in the same center as GameStop, like three stores down.

That’s one of the main problems with GameStop. It’s just not consistent throughout all locations. My closest GameStop is about 30 miles away and I’ve Never had any problems but there’s one about 70 miles away that’s lousy as far as customer service goes.
