I'll wait and see but I'm not too crazy about the show so far. I think I would've preferred a movie, and I was the one who for years said didn't want a Flash movie but another live action TV show. We'll see. I'm a big fan of the 90s tv show and while a bit dated in parts I think it's excellent and has aged as well as say the Burton Batman movies.

I'm liking the costume a lot. Even thought it probably need some tweaks her and there in the shoulder and pelvis area. But for the most part it looks pretty darn decent. I'd love to see the show use different costumes, as in, when the first one gets broken in a season finale or whatever, the new costume could have some improvements on them.

Mehhh, his powers look cool but the speeches and the story look like typical CW garbage, still hate that they turn Iris black (not because i hate black people but because i hate any race change for a change sake) and it looks like she'll be another Laurel.
Not impresed... |

Those Star Labs folks are Killer Frost and Vibe BTW. So Flash has an instant super team and a Prof Xavier wannabe mentor who's an expert on mutants oops I mean Metahumans.

That was awful. Just... Christ. Bad actors, bad filming, bad slo-mo effects... man. CW is really awful.
Arrow wasn't anything special - quite boring, actually - but this is going to be just a disaster. I mean come on, how many episodes about a fast guy can you make before you run out of ideas? Two? When they were testing his speed at 2:27, it looked like they filmed him jogging slowly and then added a speeding background. I thought that was absolutely hilarious.

Yeah, John Wesley Shipp wasn't blonde in the original Flash show, either, but I got over it. I love when they get people who look exactly like they stepped off the comic page, but it's more important they act the part right. It seems like they added a little of Wally's personality to flesh him out a bit, which makes sense, because frankly, Barry's always been a bit of a stiff and not a very interesting character on his own, in my opinion. So far it seems good, though.
I don't love the suit but I get why certain things are the way they are. I just don't get why they circle logo is red instead of white. I know that's such a minor nitpick, but it's just like the S shield in "Man of Steel"... if you're 9/10s "perfect" with something, why fudge the last 1/10 just to be "different", when you know people are just gonna nitpick it anyway? Other than that I think it's okay. I'm sure we'll see more of it in motion than we will standing still. I always really liked the Flash suit from the original show but looking at it now, as accurate as it was, it really looks kind of like a Six Flags character costume.I'll check this show out. Wasn't sure but they've got me curious.

I saw the trailer and I prefer the teaser. I don't like the suit too much and the trailer was a bit generic but I'm pretty excited. Flash is one of my favorite superheroes and deserves to be in more media. I really like the 90s show, I think the quality of the show is quite good for a TV show of the time, feels right in line with the Burton Batman movies in terms of mood.
I always wanted a Flash TV show instead of a movie since it'd mean more Flash instead of one every 2 or 3 years, let's hope it's good. The fact that Arrow is amazing makes me think it'll be great. |
