This or That: Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas

With the holidays right around the corner (even though we're still in July), which holiday is your favorite?

Well, Thanksgiving isn't a thing for me so I can only go between the two, with Halloween being bigger here now than when I was a child.

Christmas is more expensive and can be busy but it is the top one for me.
With decorations Halloween is fun but my Christmas Tree is my favourite holiday decoration. I do prefer Horror movies to Christmas movies though

Halloween all day long, baby! If I could, I would keep my spooky decor up all year. It's MY "most wonderful time of the year"!!

The other two are just fine, but I've always loved Halloween the most out of any.

Oh yes, for me it really is sort of right around the corner... I start putting the Halloween and Thanksgiving cards up in my stores these next two weeks.

And then have a really hard time trying not to want all of the Halloween cards! And bags. The bags for my Walgreens already showed up and one is the cutest haunted house shape, omgerd. Haunted houses were always some of my fave Halloween imagery growing up.

Halloween really hasn't been interesting since I was a kid for obvious reasons. Honestly most of the time I forget it's Halloween on October 31st. Thanksgiving is more memorable if only because my family gets together.

I don't celebrate Christmas but technically Christmas is a big deal anyway since my birthday falls next to it, and all the Christmas stuff in the world and everywhere on TV is impossible to avoid at the time anyway.

You're in NYC though, right? I can see how Halloween may be less of a thing for people in a city in adulthood and lacking any yard space or whatnot to decorate and enjoy it as something more than just trick-or-treating as kid.

I would literally not want to live somewhere that lacks a yard and much of that is because of Halloween.

There's an old place nearby on a high embankment on a corner facing a moderately busy road, presumably the original house here when this was farmland...and oh, if only I could decorate that place for Halloween! Though I might accidentally cause accidents by distracting people... lol

edit: Had to grab an image of it. Fellow Halloween decorating people, imagine getting to decorate this old place:
Spoiler:

Christmas too... It is never decorated really for any holiday. So much potential.

Holidays are something of a bother to me now a days and a bit depressive. But I would say Christmas is my favorite.

I would LOOOVE to do that place up for Halloween! I could do so much with a place like that. And even though I have an apartment with only a small patio space and a couple of bushes, I always use that space to the fullest degree possible for what space I DO have. You'd be surprised what you can do in decorating if you just have a little imagination and ingenuity. This year, I used hubby's old grill with a skelly in an apron, among other things.
