That woued been fine if he did change his style/art to fit the ultimate line.
i woued have preferd something close to the orginale boxart but change the mirage turtles with the ultimate turtles instead.
Hell he coued have keep the same consept but the turtles etc shoued look like the ultimate line and not the reaction line like it is now.
To me it just dont make sense.
its like selling a pizza and you Get a calzone deliverd.
Or getting the Neca 90 figurines In the 88 toon pacage and vise versa.
If this was the artwork fore the reaction van it woued be great but not fore the ultimate van.
On another note is it just me that thinks that rocksteady looks like he jumpt out of the nes games just without the pixels on this artwork?

Well, I have the reactions, I still don't really see it in comparison as the drawing style seems a bit different to the art reaction style.....but I don't care too much as I am not buying the wagon for their price

I know I’m in the vast minority, and that’s ok, but I do like the super7 van and the box art for it. I expected a modern artist homaging the original playmates art, but this is just fine.
The only thing I wish the van came with are a second set of painted modernized detailed sculpts for the cannons and radar that could swap out with the retro orange ones.

great find! thanks for adding these.

this line, to me, is taking the original sculpts, staying true to the vibe of those designs, and upgrading them. this means adding more sculpt detail, more paint deco, more texture, and ensuring that no glossy plastic is left un-matte.

Bebop is the best example of this. so much more detail added, so much more color added. It remains faithful to the original design vibe, but also adds SO much.

this Casey, to me, does not add much. it's effectively the same figure as the original. as such, i'm cancelling my preorder for him. in order for me to continue to support this line and pre-order these figures, i need to see Bebop-level jumps in quality from the original figure to the S7 ultimate. not changes to the original designs, but refinements. especially with the $10 price increase coming.

as a final personal note on Casey, i don't like the shoulder/bicep articulation cuts. they look bad. i know some may disagree because they like the added articulation, but you can't tell me this final product looks as good as the concept that they showed originally (that had no cut in the shoulder/bicep).

Mondo, though, looks really cool, and it's great to see that they listened to the community and fixed his eyes. That would have been a deal breaker. Still, his shirt, shorts, and skateboard are essentially 1:1 copies from the toy with no added refinements. I think this was a missed opportunity and prevents this good figure from being a great figure.

Mine shipped out on the 11th after a label was created on the 9th. Still have not been notified of that fact from super7, so others may also have theirs enroute without knowing unless they have FedEx alerts set up.

When the wave first went up for preorder - Don had two extra accessories and Casey was missing three.
