The 3D model of Usagi has fur detailing. That was done by NECA.

I'd be really surprised if that happened because Stan Sakai controls literally everything about Usagi and he's not gonna tolerate subpar quality. I know I wouldn't be surprised if NECA tried that but I honestly don't know if Stan would allow it.

Stan was okay with multiple variants of Usagi in the past to tie in with the Nickelodeon show.

Chrome Dome available at thenecastore.com from 11am EST tomorrow (9/10). While supplies last... not sure if I want to pay the $15 shipping just to turn around and find a hundred of these at my Target a couple weeks later. Surely Chrome Dome wouldn't be more popular than Mondo and Muckman?

that is likely to happen. I figured Muckman would be tough to find for most. ChromeDome will likely have the same fate. Both bad ass figures too

Agreed, I think I'm going to roll the dice and skip this in the hope that I can find him in-store. Seeing both Mondo and Muckman in-person, with no shipping charge, weeks before I had mine in-hand did not feel good.

Stan is 100% fine with repaints.

He sold a special black repaint of the recent Usagi figure on his own store/site.

He's probably going to the cart and selecting where it says "1" for quantity then typing in a large number. It auto-reduces it to a number that *might* represent how many they have left, but, also, that might not actually be how it works, sometimes assuming makes an ass of u and me.

I did it just now and got 1259 left.

Ah, thanks for that tip. Yes, he came up when I used the search bar, but I was watching/refreshing what I thought was the comprehensive listing of all products "All Toys and Collectibles" and he only just now started showing up:

I was able to successfully order both without TOO much trouble, but the NECA website had a nasty habit of saying I had 2 Chrome Domes in cart and then 2 Goliaths in cart, which I had to go back and correct each time. Finally, I was able to complete the order. Also, it's annoying that despite making multiple orders from the website this year and "Saving my information for faster checkout" each time, it still prompts me for info I've already provided like phone number or PayPal address billing. Seems like even when the NECAStore isn't bad, it's still far from "good." And I think the first Chrome Dome listing uploaded to the site was the International version, which I mistakenly added and then removed, but I imagine some trigger-happy buyers might not have noticed.

Anyway... I'm happy I got my orders in for these two impressive figures and I won't have to make any unnecessary trips to Target.
