Turtles in Time follow-up
Hey guys, just been thinking. Lets say the Turtles in Time Re-shelled game really rocks, and sells well on the XboX marketplace and later on PSN.
Maybe we should all email UbiSoft individually and ask for a sequel. I mean using the same engine to re-shell the first arcade game as well. The one that starts in Aprils apartment. Wouldn't that be awesome? Just a thought, let me know what you think! |

It would have to sell extremely well for Ubi to do that. And if it does then no emails would be necessary, they'd still do whatever they'd want. Counting the arcade version is already available its not too likely though.

I'd love that! TMNT 2 was always my favorite turtles game.

You know what I'd rather see? TMNT V.
There are plenty of old toon villains left to pick from. |

I would love to see something new toon-related but in the old beat-em-up style.

I'd be more for a mixture of a remake combined with a completely new game. That being said, I'd like a remake of Manhattan Project with a few more levels and bosses added in (they had a Triceraton on the cover, why not put him in the game?).

Make it based on the DVD movie... pick from 2 versions of the TMNT and make them face a mixture of Bebop, Rocksteady, Hun, Khan and such.

This is exactly why I want Re-Shelled (as well as Smash-Up) to sell very well (and why I'm trying to convince people to let go of their miniscule misgivings and buy it anyway). I want to see MORE. There's so much that can be done with the license... it's not being tapped to its fullest potential - never really has, even back in the day.

Plus.. we need some good ol fashioned beat-em-ups. No weird puzzles, mazes, backtracking and 'make the player feel like the turtle' stypd stuff. Just random 2-4 player arcade style beat up everything that moves FUN.

Indeed. Actually, as far as the Konami games based on the 2k3 series are concerned, the beat 'em up parts were a blast! Honestly, I think the thing that killed those games for me the most was all the cutscenes. Not so much that there were cutscenes in the game, but that the story was exactly the same as many episodes of the cartoon. If I wanted to watch the cartoon, I'd watch the cartoon. A Ninja Turtles game should have its own original story, much like how the old-school games did. And ya, don't be afraid to mix universes (Konami did it all the time, back in the day).

I doubt that we will se another remake. The whole idea is to celebrate the anniversary by remaking the greatest tmnt arcade game, and therefore I think this remake has a higher chance to be a big seller than a new one in the future.

While that would be nice that could get pretty confusing when the action gets hectic. You'd need to have markers above players' heads perhaps.

i'd like to see X-Men or The Simpsons re-done.
Manhatten project would be amazing though. |

Simpsons would be a better remake as the game doesn't really feature that many characters from the show. People forget the game was released back when the show first came out.
