Mark Ruffalo is a terrible Bruce Banner.

I quite like him, though he hasn’t had terribly much script to play off of. Edward Norton would have made sure Banner had a nice character arc throughout, but I enjoy Ruffalo’s work in Endgame quite a bit.

This article was undoubtedly written by a sensitive soul.

Spoiler:
Geez. Black Widow sacrifices herself because her best friend has a family and she does not. This is sexist and demeaning!
For a nerdy blog writer, she's forgotten that "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Not everything is a misogynistic boogeyman.

I mean, read THIS idiotic passage.

Spoiler:
And it needs to be that potent because Gamora’s death is already a circumspect exercise in the previous film, a seeming approval of Thanos’s “love” for a daughter he has only ever abused. Allowing Clint and Natasha to circumvent the process by the power of real love (and the love of a platonic and beautiful friendship between a woman and a man, no less) would have been a far more powerful message against Thanos’s toxic idea of family.
Circumventing the process would have been a COP OUT.

... I can't argue with her on Scarlet Witch, though.

It's not the first article on Tor I've written by Emily Asher-Perrin, and like the others, this one has a few good points mired in a sea of bull$hit.

Spoiler:
which is exactly WHY it was better for black widow to do it.
she knew he had a family that needed him. she didn't have anything except the job. hence caps earlier idea of 'getting a life'. so at least this way, in her view, her life had meaning.

as for thanos.......in his sick, twisted world, it DID count as love. love isn't simply the definition that is black and white. it can be any kind of love, even twisted love.

The one thing about nebula in this new movie, for some reason, really reminded me of Cyborg Freiza. not sure why.

Too true! Andrew, I don't remember your preference... Ruffalo or Norton?

Norton by far. Bless his heart.

But props for Bana. He's the only one of the three I look at and can go, "Now there is a dude that could probably go unhinged at a moment's notice and kick my ass."

Yeah, I liked Eric Bana.

He would have made a perfect Hal Jordan about 15 years ago, too. Shame.

Oh wow, now there'd be a hell of a pick for Hal. The perfect casting for me, though, would have been Dennis Quaid, right around 1990.

Eric Bana? Really? The action star? The whole point of Bruce Banner is he's a 98 pound weakling. That's the appeal of the Hulk. You piss off the helpless nerd and he turns into a giant green rage monster.

Is the Hulk movie with MCU Banner worth checking out?

it's the one that I havn't gotten around too yet, because what I've heard about the first one wasn't good.

I liked it... at least for that awesome monster battle in the third arc. It just feels a bit jarring seeing that both Stark and Ross are in it and there's super soldier references, but Ruffalo isn't the Hulk.

I didn't think it was bad, I mean if you are interested enough in the Hulk it's still worth checking just to make your own opinion. Did both do badly btw?

I didn't think the first one was totally bad, like all of it, but I did find issue with some of it, I felt like there was a desire to go all out on CGI you know with Banners father for instance. I might have to re-watch them to jog my memory a little.

So far as fav Banner, not actually sure, I liked the old series as a child and though the first movie didn't do well I liked some of the cast. There isn't one I actually dislike anyway.

The movie PLUNGES seventy-four percent on its second Friday.

It will still make over two billion, and it will, most likely, surpass Avatar.

Not very surprisingly. But you can bet the farm it is going to have suuuper staying power.

To put in perspective, Endgame has already made after one week alone the same amount of money as Infinity War made in its WHOLE run worldwide, as well as 100 million more than Infinity War in its whole run domestically.

Spoiler:
Tony Stark should have added the arm in the Ts & Cs of his last snap. "Yo Infinity Stones... make Thanos disappear, bring back my dead friends, give the Hulk his arm back, and make my arm invulnerable to damage for the next 60 seconds".
