Last music related thing I bought were two picture disks. I'm a collector as well as a listener.

They were Cradle Of Filth and featured the albums, Cruelty And The Beast and Midian.

I have quite a few picture disks already, these were a great addition to my collection.

People still buy CD's? Well, damn.

I only buy Dir en grey albums/singles/DVD's for their novelty value. I never take them out of their packaging. The last one I bought was their new album, The Marrow of a Bone. Simply stunning. Their best work to date.

Yup, those of us who don't want our ownership of a song restricted to a few licensed devices that I will have to eventually replace, and then relicense. Also those of us who don't use Apple mp3 players (Creative Zen FTW) and don't want to buy songs that only work on Apple products.

CD + mp3 ripping = happy consumer.

music CDs:
mc chris - knowing is half the hassle (with the new mix of 'hijack')
mc chris - eating's not cheating (internet-only version)

One of these days, I'll start buying 'good' music again.

Wow! That is my favourite album from the eighties. Talk Talk is my
favourite group from that time. That album is absolutely amazing!

What's likely the only record I need in my attempt to collect all the mixes of Ya Kid K's Awesome (You Are My Hero) came in the mail today. Also, the hardware needed to transfer them to CD showed up too. ^_^ I'm thrilled beyond words.

So, anyway, here's the listing:

A1 (Single Mix) (4:02)
A2 (12" Slammin' Mix) (7:20)
B1 (Radical 12" Mix) (7:22)
B2 (Instrumental) (4:10)
B3 (Acapella) (3:24)

The Single Mix appears to be the same as on the Turtles 2 OST. I'm willing to bet the 12" Slammin' Mix is the exact same as the Slammin' Club Mix I got on CD not too long ago. Radical 12" is another one of those "if this is new to me, they sure didn't make it obvious" tracks. Instrumental is pretty cool. Can't get this one on CD, but it's always nice to have extra karaoke material. And, Acapella is the track I got on the French single recently, but the 12" doesn't have as abrupt an ending. The CD version just cut off in the middle of the final beat.

I got "Devildriver - The Last Kind Words" today. Not a great CD but I listened to it alot when I had the promo version. I always buy CDs I like. I'm burnt out on it now but to be fair the new Arch Enemy CD coming out would be why.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Count On Us (Special Extended Turtles Dance Mix) promo 1-track CD

It's significantly different than the version on the tape though oddly not as danceable.

Came in Saturday:
Billy Talent - Red Flag 1-track CD including the video (tho I can't get it working since it requires a codec not available on QuickTime's servers )

Came in today:
Hi Tek 3 (feat. Ya Kid K) - Spin That Wheel (Turtles Get Real) CD
1. 7" PIZZA MIX 6:07
2. 12" PIZZA MIX 3:44
3. 12" PIZZA DUB MIX 6:13
Oddly enough, even though this single is called "Turtles Get Real" and it even features the movie poster as the cover, they included the drug references left off the OST Version.

Picked up Pink Floyd - The Wall for $14.99 at HMV (Not bad
considering i've seen it for +$40.00.) I thought I get it
before the whole format dries up! I need to pick up some
Beatles as well.
