I mean, when the Muppet line came out, Henson worked closely with the toy company. I'm sure they'd be glad to donate old sketches and any available media. If there's one thing Neca does great, it's their movie toy lines. I'd LOVE to see their take on the Turtles and especially the first movie version of Splinter (the third movie one wasn't so good). Too bad it's taking a while, but I'm sure that's just a tactical thing. If they brought out everything at once, they would no doubt wind up delaying something anyway. But maybe taking their time isn't such a bad thing. Shows they plan to put a LOT of quality into their figures. Personally, what I'd like to see is if they can make a deal with Saki, like Playmates did, and make a Usagi figure either as part of the TMNT line, or a small run Usagi line that runs allong side the TMNT line. Lemme just say, if a Hildaguard Rail figure was made, I'd be extatic.

Sakai. Making a deal with Saki has COMPLETELY different implications.

Indeed.....He would force them to make him a master control for his numerous cases of 3 pack Mousers.

It seems odd to me that they released a wave of four figures, but now they're just going to let the others trickle out one by one.

I'm usually good at Japanese phonetic spelling. But making a deal with SakAi, would that be something do-able in the long run, I wonder.

3 deleted posts. Suddenly I'm curious.
I do love these, but I always thought you should add a caption to this: That said: I warned you about killing people in front of too many cops. Your going away for a long time."

If you check out the NECA website, they just posted that the B&W figures will be available outside of the SDCC in I believe a box set and single carded.

Newburry Comics just got the Tube turtles in... the price is not dramatically lower than the carded counterpart, though. It's basically a 2 dollar difference. I was waiting to see if they were worth the price cut, but they aren't.

Wish I could get my hands on the b&w boxset exclusive. I'm hoping I could make it for the show although, a one day trip from NY to California is highly unlikely. What day will Eastman and Laird be at the Neca booth? Will they be selling the sets on the other days when Eastman and Laird won't be there? And finally, will this b&w boxset be sold after in retail sores (hot topic, online, etc.)?

Sale information is not yet available. This box set will not be available outside of Comic-Con, but the non-exclusive version will be.

So you're saying that there is definitely not going to be any NECA booth signing w/ Eastman and Laird?
Yeah I'm pretty sure the picture of the boxset on NECA's site was the regular one, not the comic-con edition.

Someone posted for me the link to Big Bad Toy Store of the b&w versions, but it didn't mention any box set I don't think when I read it last .

Um, yeah. Only Kevin will be there, so only Kevin will be signing. They didn't even do a signing together when they were both at NYCC.

Has anyone bought a pre-sale Comic Con Exclusive of the Black and White Turtles off ebay yet? I see them all over and with as many I see, I'm wondering how many people at the Con are actually going to get one. The whole "limited to 500 pieces" has gotta be a load of crap.
I'm assuming the set will be $50 at the Con...just contemplating whether I should pay double or just let it go.
