I'd imagine its the same as the console port, 1 level split in half by the bosses.

Ah... so like.... 6 levels then. And I guess with the 2 extra ones added in the home port that would make 10 levels.

Kinda like how Hyperstone Heist is 4 stages cut up in 3 separate stages and one long gauntlet stage.

I think the arcade version's Shredder level is also just one big boss rush, so that adds a bit to the length.

I just bought a used copy and beat it for the Switch. It was pretty fun, but like the others have pointed out, it was way too short. I still think Danger of the Ooze is the best 2012 Turtles game, but I don't regret my purchase.

Seems like a rental. I'd buy it if it was like $5.

Played it twice last night. The game is super cheap but it makes sense since it's based on the arcades where the point is to have the cannonfodder kill you as fast as they can. Made it twice to Shredder on Normal. Came super duper close both times. If he didn't have that Super Shredder form, we would have gotten him for sure.

Thirty bucks is expensive for pretty much just buying TMNT The Arcade Game 2017. Shredder's Revenge was cheaper and is a longer game with more characters to choose from and different endings. TMNT Cowabunga Collection doesn't hurt because it's a compilation of those older games. But this feels like paying full price for just one of the games in the CC compilation.

Glad it got released but I decided to wait for a Steam sale. Just don't feel like paying 30 for it if everyone is saying it's short.

Why are the bosses listed in the scoreboards? Is it possible to play as them?

I’ve been searching for the arcade version for years with no luck. Finally played this yesterday and was a little disappointed. It wasn’t challenging at all and all the bosses just had the exact same fight mechanics. The only one that was kind of fun was Karai’s smoke bomb/vanish trick.

I could see it being fun with a group of 4, and I enjoyed the Metalhead, LH and ICK assists. Also was not expecting FW Krang or Kraang Subprime, so that was cool.

I do think it was better than the 2013 Wii game (never played Danger of the Ooze), so I guess this is the best 2012 game.

lol, that was so corny and completely random. There was zero “story” leading up to that.

That makes sense. Xever snd TC seemed like odd choices for TCRI bosses.

I mean yeah, you literally just start playing the game from the getgo. Even the original Konami arcade show the Turtles and Splinter watching April's apartment on fire before they leap into action. Turtles in Time had even more cut scenes. If Turtles in Time was like this game, you'd pretty much start fighting dinosaurs with no explanation why.

Right, I’m not asking for much over here lol.

I know it’s a dumb complaint, I just feel like I would have enjoyed it more if I felt like I was progressing towards something.
