I enjoyed Ncuti leaning towards a darker side and cribbing around with Anita. I would not mind a fan edit that focuses on just those two, it's the real story, Joy felt like a minor plot point in her own episode, a cameo more than a major role.

Does Sony even have a streaming platform for international distribution?
Would Sony get the previous two series after the Disney deal expires of does series 3 get soft rebooted and renamed series 1 again?

Here in Australia local streaming platform Stan has 2005-2022, Shada (1980) and the TV movie (1996).
ABC Australia has series 4 and all the Xmas specials on there iView
and Amazon has a few seasons as well.

I gave a quick google of Sony's assets and turns out they are the majority shareholder of "Bad Wolf" the current production company founded by (show runner) Russel T Davis and Jane Tranter

Seems like, they are just keeping it "in house".

Amazon seems just as likely as any other provider.

Pete McTighe isn't the first person I would have brought back. Wait and see I guess, Hopefully the spinoff his running is good.

Juno Dawson is the one with the most controversy, she wrote a book aimed at young children that taught them how to navigate through sexual relations if they happened to be gay, it got banned in Ireland and some parts of the States.

She's written Doctor Who novels and audios in the past, but this is her first TV work for the programme.

RTD talks about series two, describing sets for the upcoming episodes (including a 'Robo-Chamber' and a Palace for the series finale), and breaks down a few scenes from the trailer (revealing the animated monster is voiced by an 'old friend of the show', some speculate that it's Mark Gatiss)

would be a shame if he leaves. I think Ncuti is doing a fine job as the doctor even with some boring stories
