Is it that time of the year when a new issue gets announced?

September 2025 - the final volume!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQSVXYH5?crid=28WG1RVQVIWQD
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Teenage-Mut...d=AWKRRUJ2D1Y2

Volume 18 includes Armageddon Game issues #7–8, The Alliance #6, the 2023 Annual, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issues #138–150, and the Untold Destiny of the Foot Clan miniseries.

Wasn't expecting the Foot Clan mini but it's a nice surprise.

Edit: According to the March solicitation booklet that also came out today Volume 17 will also be including the 'Teen Spirit' short story from the 40th Anniversary special.

So they collected everything prior to the new #1 (and mutant nation/nightwatcher) with that collection so far? And all the Sourcebooks also got a hardcover collection too.

And of course the crossovers get their own trades as well as Black, White and Green which weren't canon. So everything is up to date? Is anything missed or skipped?

There's two short stories, 'Splinter's Day Off' (fcbd2024) and 'Father's Day's (40th Anniversary) which we don't know if or when they will be included in volume 17/18 or any future hardback volumes.

So, black white and green will not be in the collected books?

With the Volume 2 collection coming this year and the first Archie one, very interested to see what the next Mirage collection from IDW will be.

They could collect the Image series again into one big volume again. But other than that I REALLY hope they finally do proper Tales V. 2 and Volume 4 collections, the latter of which has NEVER been collected. Like this is what I wanted IDW to do for years, finally collect the remaining Mirage comics that we've never had collections for.

They are their own separate thing and all 'what if' type stories.

The Image run/ Urban Legends I can see getting a re-release and IDW have previously collected some of Tales v2 before but I don't know what the current licencing situation is for Volume 4 or whether Laird's 2009 agreement still stands considering that Mirage as an entity has since been mothballed.

Anything Mirage published should be fair-game for IDW to re-print. The only Tales issues they might skip is the 4 crossovers with the Cowboys of Moo Mesa. Everything in Vol. 4 should be collected and I'm confused why it wouldn't be?

IDW collections for the relaunch and new titles

My question is: Will we get a continued numbering of the IDW collections going into the relaunch of the books?

Will they contain the Jason Aaron main title, Mutant Nation, and Nightwatcher in reading order?

Thanks!

We'll probably see something during the summer months regarding the next run of hardcovers, going by previous solicitation and release patterns, but they'll do something similar to the Transformers hardcovers with the numbering (Phase 2 or something akin to that, possibly 'Second Kata' to keep the ninja theming).

The first volume should contain the same issues the TPBs due out this July/ August:- TMNT IDW v2 1-6, MN 1-4, NW 1-5 plus the Alpha and 2024FCBD issues (About 17 issues worth of content as standard).

We don't have anything definitively confirmed at this time; the March solicitations catalog has a page for Volume 17 that states that 'Teen Spirit' from the 40th Anniversary collection will be included however the listings on Penguin Random House and Amazon do not show this.
The other story 'Father's Day' and the second story from FCBD2024 'Splinter's Day Off' have not been mentioned whatsoever.
We might not have any further confirmation until volume 17 releases.
