Muskrat has tweeted up the departmental budget figures his trolling AI has decided to cough out for last year and the projection for this year. I’m not really sure what positives will come from this, sure people will go “well he said he’d be transparent about government spending” but unsurprisingly it’s attracting the usual hate towards the people who are genuinely claiming for social security, Medicare and beyond

Let alone the standard f you, fix your own problems to anyone who noted they benefited from USAID coming to their country.

But it’s not wholly surprising. Those that appear anti woke look at themselves and those immediately close to them as a priority (such as family and best friends). Those they deem woke are considered to look at the bigger picture and consider everyone, even if it means detriment to yourself.

Two different priorities and focuses, which is why I don’t think either side will ever understand the others viewpoint ?

"Refuges and immigration bad! Unless they're white, of course." Yet they aren't even refugees. It would be one thing if something horrible was happening and people need a safe place to go, even temporarily, such as all those who had to flee Ukraine, but these people in South Africa aren't looking to leave.

Aside from that having been sarcasm... You realize the farms have to do what they must to stop the spread to try to limit the impact, no matter who is in office.

My state was one of those hit, and appeared to be brought in by migrating snow geese.

And needless to say the gutted CDC isn't reporting the infection has spread to other farm animals such as cows in some states. Or liable to be able to do as much about it when Biden was in office. But it's amusing that one of those things Trump mention (about bringing the price of eggs down) is going to repeatedly peck on his flabby orange backside.

Terrible, considering humans can get it, even if not usually deadly for most. Raw pet foods contaminated with it can sicken or kill pets, so it's something people at least should be aware of.

Also... RIP penny. Dropping it from the currency has been suggested for a long time, but still kinda sad to see that production may be ordered to end.
