Finger Eleven

I'm sure there's more but I cant remember off the top of my head

  • Pearl Jam (twice)
  • Alice in Chains (twice)
  • Metallica
  • Ghost
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers
  • Tool
  • Mastodon (three times)
  • Foals (twice)
  • Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals (twice)
  • Die Ärzte (one of Germany's most famous bands)
  • Queens of the Stone Age
  • The Black Keys
  • Meshuggah (maybe not exactly 'mainstream')

And countless other smaller bands. I loved going to concerts but working full time and being a dad makes it difficult.

The only one anyone here can recognise is the Iron Maiden.

I saw a few small/local bands as well, but no point naming them since no one will know them.

The Iron Maiden concert was back in 2013 already. Haven't been to a concert ever since. I was big into metal when I was 18-24, but never was a concert goer, really. Which meant I'd lose cred with most metalheads I knew, but whatever, I don't care.

There isn't any other band I'd like to see live. Iron Maiden are one of those exceptions of an old band with all of its members still being around and kicking. And they also haven't sold out like Metallica did. Would I have liked to see the likes of Alice in Chains, Guns n Roses, Judas Priest Slayer, Megadeth, etc. in their prime? Ofc I would. But I either wasn't born yet or was a little kid, so...

Most of all, I'd like to see Gorillaz in concert, but until then, here's who I have seen.

The Misfits
Nihilistics
Agent Orange
Belakiss
Roger Waters (x2)
Chuck Berry
Ozzy Osbourne
Rob Zombie
Explosions In The Sky
Lichens
Necro (x2)
Mr. Hyde
Sabac
Riviera Regime
Sean Strange
Nems
Agnostic Front
Shai Hulud
Hatebreed
God Forbid
Kidz In The Hall
Little Brother
Murs
Between The Buried & Me
Veil Of Maya
Horse The Band
Wu-Tang Clan
Video Games Live
Cattle Decapitation
Dying Fetus
Cerebral Bore
Rancid (x2)
The Interrupters
The Bird & The Bee
Dropkick Murphy's
The Bronx

Countless other lesser-known acts, too, of course. I also used to PLAY live a fair bit, which included opening for acts like Cage, Killer Mike, Riff Raff, Army of the Pharoahs, & more.

That‘s an awesome list. Between the Buried and Me is one of my favourite bands from the last couple of years. And you‘re a musician yourself? Opening for someone like Killer Mike is pretty huge.

Can someone please change this to artists and groups, instead of limiting it to bands.

My old band opened up for:
- The Toasters
- Mustard Plug
- Against All Authority
- The Queers
- River City Rebels
- The Koffin Kats
- A Global Threat
- Valient Thor
- Agent Orange
- I think that there is more, but I jist can't think of any more.

Bands that I have seen live that were not local (Most of these bands I have seen multiple times):
- Aquabats (I got to dress up and fight MC Bat Commander on Stage)
- Phenomenauts
- The Adicts
- Anti-Flag
- Sub-Humans
- Agnostic Front
- GBH
- Rancid
- Nofx
- The Offspring
- Swingin Utters
- Tiger Army
- The Unseen
- Lower Class Brats
- Less Than Jake
- Streetlight Manifesto
- Pantera (I got to see the real Pantera at Ozz Fest 2000)
- Metallica
- Slipknot
- Marilyn Manson
- Mudvayne
- Ozzy Osbourne
- I am stopping right here because I realize that there is at least 100 more. I was very active in my teens and twenties. Now it hurts when I stand or play guitar for over 10 minutes.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Otherwise, I've seen Kansas, Boston (including one concert without Brad Delp), and a few other musicians.

Kudos for anyone that's seen Ozzy on-stage. He's sort of banned in my city for taking a p*ss on the wall of a historic building that draws in a lot of tourists on a daily basis.
(Hopefully, it's just a rumor.)

Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band

Admittedly, am not much for live music, but in Bruce's case, definitely keeps the blood pumping, and made for a fine occasion with friends.

Thank you for changing. Now, I can proudly tell you I've seen Dolly Parton performing live, twice. (Video films not filmed or uploaded by me)

So far, my favorite song from him despite it being a cover song done by Johnny Cash.

Exclamation Live

Back in the day I went to harvest crusades with my youth group and church gatherings but that was a long time ago---can't remember who we saw but they were good and the crowds were insanity. As for the smaller venues i can't remember if it was breaking benjamin or somebody else but i saw a band play at a smaller venue---a bunch of years ago... if only i could see LP LIVE but that's impossible for me really.

Barely any, really. Willie Nelson as a kid, then Oasis later on. That's it, I think.

I‘m going to see Kvelertak in two weeks, a Norwegian Rock/Metalband I‘ve been a huge fan of for the last 15 years and who are on their farewell tour now. A bit sad to see them go but they released five strong albums and better to finish like that than to drag on and **** out mediocre material for years.

Then, in August I have tickets for Queens of the Stone Age who might just be my favourite band ever. I‘ve only seen them live once which was almost 18 years ago and I’m beyond excited.

Are any British members going to the final Black Sabbath concert in Birmingham? Tickets are expensive (starting at 200 Pounds) but on paper, it sounds like the greatest concert of all time with Sabbath in their original line-up, numerous amazing metal bands performing as well as Ozzy doing a solo set.
Might of course be huge disappointment since Ozzy can‘t walk anymore and is heavily suffering from Parkinson‘s disease. Also, Bill Ward hasn‘t performed at all in about ten years?
But still, it could be the greatest thing ever.
