WTF is up with the episode order?

First post in the Rise section, I think.

So while I’m in the middle of my current manic episode of TMNT hyper fixation, I figured it was time to buckle down and knock this show out since it’s one of the few pieces of TMNT media I haven’t consumed.

I pretty much have it on in the background while I scroll, but I’ll give it my full attention during the plot relevant stuff with the Foot/dark armor.

Anyways I actually started enjoying Insane in the Mama train/Endgame, thinking it was the season 1 finale. It ends on a cliffhanger and I figured the next episode would follow up, but on Paramount plus the next episode was Flushed but not Forgotten.

Tl;dr please explain the episode order to me like I’m 5.

cant remember why (maybe someone else can chime in) but season 2 ep 2 Many unhappy returns is the follow up to the season 1 finale.

The episode lists online via Wikipedia and Turtlepedia look pretty accurate imo.

I don't know why they have to be stupid about it via streaming, it feels like that would require effort to mix up. Wouldn't their digital files of it exist in the proper order..? (Unless they were produced out of order, different than the order aired, and Paramount's order matches that?)

Yeah that was the next one in the queue right after I made this thread lol. I guess Paramount was based on air dates? I just powered through with their order. Never could decipher the Wikipedia one, but all the “important” episodes were in order.

Time to circumvent Netflix and watch the movie. I’ve heard good things.

Pretty sure the Wikipedia list IS the legit air dates. Granted I only saw it in its initial run on cable so it's been while, but does look right to me.

But that series had habit of jumping around, doing something actually half decent then going back to BS as usual for too long.

The main thing that didn’t make sense was Paramount has Endgame as the season 1 finale, but Wikipedia says it and Mama Train are just in the middle of season 2. With some random episode to close out season 1.

Ooh, I see what you mean where they do cut it off oddly between seasons. Even if I think(?) still in the right order otherwise... but that Purple Game one was def not a finale.

The Turtlepedia list ends season 1 at End Game, maybe their season layout is more reliable.
