Steelworks 2 was good. I see what John Henry is on about not wanting to have people Rely on the Supers as much but I can also see the Super's and Nat's point of view. Hope we get more backstory on the rich dude who wants to take down Steelworks who created the new villain The Silver Mist

I love how after each issue you get 2-3 Steelworks data files on random characters Steel has run into.

DC did well at the Eisner awards. Taylor won best ongoing for Nightwing and King won one for Riddler-One Bad Day.

Kevin Conroy posthumously won best short story also.

I actually really like Peter Tomasi. And back when he was an editor, he was the only thing keeping Geoff Johns semi-reined in! Before everyone got scared of Geoff and just let him do whatever.

Tomasi has been done wrong with multiple runs of his being prematurely halted for uncreative concepts to take hold once he is off a book.

I think their heart is in the right place. Barebones, Hal on Earth, being a test pilot (exactly like Geoff's original Vol. 4 before the Sinestro Corps War and the book was locked into back to back megavents)... but I'm not really liking Hal's characterization. They're making him too much like Kyle, in the way he talks and interacts.

Also, while again I appreciate the need for scaling things way down from what they were with a million different colored corps and all that... but maybe this is a little bit too far, too drastic.

I found this article amusing because the only Robin I recognize is Dick Grayson.


It's ironic that Batman is envisioned as a loner when the first hero you think of with a partner is Batman. I thought it was bad 20 years ago with a bloated Bat Family but now it's bursting at the seems. I miss the good ole days of just Robin and Batgirl.
