Alien Isolation

This came out recently I believe. I haven't played a proper game in ages (I mean a game where you go through a story as opposed to a sports or a fighting game or similar) but this looks really enticing. Anyone played it yet?

I've only seen someone else play a little on it, it looks really great.

Many people are praising it, it looks very good. I'd like to try and get back into proper gaming by completing this.

If you like the original Alien, you will like this. Its definitely not for everyone because it does get a little slow sometimes. But it has a fantastic low-fi atmosphere, awesome graphics, intense gameplay, and great music.
Just know its not a game where you run around shooting aliens. There isnone xenomorph and you are running and hiding from it. It is huge, terrifying, and smart. It will find you if you try to use the same tactics over and over to get away. But there's anlot of strategy here. You can kite it over to other enemy humans and clear out hallways.
I think its great.

It is easily the best Alien(s) game out there (not including VS Predator of course)

This one is fine, I played it on Gamepass last year. It's a hard stealth game, the Alien is basically a one-hit KO whenever it sees you and you die instantly, and the androids/robots are difficult to fight.

Also it's a long game. For a linear single player game, it's over 22 hours long.

I've started it a couple times over the years but always lose interest. That said, I'll probably try one more time. The atmosphere is really great.
