I don't have The Hub, but I do watch it whenever i can. I'll try and catch this when it's on.

Local Me-TV station KTXD-47, only carries the 2nd 1/2 of Batman. Because @ 6:00, they air a local sports show. Weird! |

You're whack, dawg. It's the only thing worth watching right now on that channel.

It is such a hidden gem of a television program, and I fear that its placement on the Hub might kill it too quickly... Though it did just start its Third Season so what do I know |

I was actually just going through my guide, setting the dvr for Batman the animated series, when I saw this. I was pretty young when these aired so I don't remember any particular episodes. I just got both DVDs for Christmas though so I probably won't watch them on the HUB until I finish the dvds. Hope it does well and I think it's cool that they're doing it.

Don't get too excited, Next Mutation is mostly terrible outside a few decent concepts. I'd really only defend Bonesteel, the blind man Andre, and the Vam Mi arc, everything else was awful.

Are you kidding me? There's ALF, Family Ties, Facts of Life, Mork and Mindy, Batman: TAS, Superman TAS, Batman Beyond, My Little Pony, Lois and Clark, Hercules, Sliders, G.I. Joe A Real American Hero, Transformers, etc.

Anyone else amused by the fact that this show starts airing tomorrow, and they haven't aired a single ad for it or mentioned it on the channel at all? XD

My point exactly haha. I mean, I'm not expecting them to do anything like getting the voices from the show to record a new promo for it (like they did Animaniacs, and it is awesome), but you'd think they'd at least edit together some kind of commercial for it prior to it's airing.
Really speaks volumes to what they expect from it heh.

Man...I don't know whether this news is bad or good. Good because it gives additional exposure to the turtles in todays market, but bad because, well...its beyond cheesey.

Why doesn't The Hub simply air the original cartoon? That would last them way longer than Next Mutation!

The original cartoon was the good kind of cheese, this show was the bad kind of cheese. |

I'm actually curious to see reactions of the new, young kid fanbase. 'Oh wow, a live action TMNT show over on this other channel! I gotta see this! *watches* ...' I'm a cold-hearted bastard.

I can just imagne the HUB throwing a premiere party, welcoming the 5 turtles to the HUB family.
No one would attend except me (LOL) & at the party, they would rock out as a band. (LOL) Last edited by Guitar_Raph; 01-12-2013 at 01:40 PM. |

Because they already have a partnership with Saban who owns TNM, it's not like they went out of their way to get the show they just saw Saban owned a TMNT show and wanted to air it. Which for the OT I'm sure there's a lot of things to go through before they could air it.
