And yet, SOMEHOW, people still let Eastman write Ninja Turtles stories.

But that was edgy. The problem is, it just wasn't necessarily very good.

Eastman is basically the TMNT cheerleader. He loves nearly anything the franchise puts out (PDTMNT had his approval, or atleast his paid approval).

It's no surprise that bodycount is his work. Not bashing Eastman. Love him. That being said, it's hilariously bad and provides a lot of entertainment value

I don't think Bodycount was ever intended to have a plot. It was just to watch Raph and Casey shoot as many people in a bloodbath as possible.

I love what he did with Peter, but I haven't seen him do anything on his own that I like. If he tried something different, I'd be interested. I mean, he's done some pretty cool things. But it's time to try some new tropes.

Curious to know what ever happened with that "Fistful of Blood" series he was doing a year or two ago...

That was pretty much the point of it. Is bodycount mirage canon or it's own thing? Andrew, can you step in?

There's no reason it wouldn't be. I've always taken it as taking place between the Raphael special (where he meets Casey) and TMNT Vol. 1, #10 (when Casey shows up to help the Turtles), showing a glimpse of the days he was "a bouncer at Torchy's" that he mentioned in #10.

When it comes to Raph and Casey wreaking havoc, I prefer "Fun with Guns."

It was certainly written with the intention to be part of Mirage canon, but I don't count it as such personally.

It doesn't really matter either way. Nothing of consequence happens in the story, and there's no real reason to mention the time Raphael and Casey fought Johnny Woo Woo ever again.

If anything, Midnight could show up again and take Raphael and Casey on another adventure but... why?

Am I the only one who found that panel funny? Yes? okay....

I wonder if they have archived any of the other TMNT sites, like the 2k3 one. Did the '87 series ever get one?

Dude, the internet didn't even exist when the original cartoon was airing.

Ninjaturtles.com came out around 1996/1997 which was already after the show ended.

It somewhat existed, just not developed a lot.

The general public had no access to the internet till circa 1995, and even then it was in its infancy.

You had to wait 10 minutes for one page to load.
