Now? Slim to none anytime in the foreseeable future. And even then certainly not anything but a FULL-on reboot.

This is particularly disappointing because the showrunner told fans this was going to take potentially years to crack properly in pre-production, so to be patient. And then Peacock just goes and drops it, before so much as even a pilot is made. Or written.

There's really not much to do with another reboot, at least now. They either go back to the campy Star Wars-knock off direction like the original but trying to repeat what they did in 2004 would be redundant.

There's really not much else you can do with a bunch of alien robots who nuke a planet. Half of BSG was ripped from Star Wars and the second series half-ripped off Terminator with the human skin on the robots and the planet getting nuked because A.I. got too smart. The series basically became Terminator set in space just without the time travel.
