Would Street Fighter fans even know who Jennika is? As I’ve posted earlier, she hasn’t exactly been the hot new character that they were hoping for. Wouldn’t have made more sense from a marketing point of view to bring in someone like Alopex or Karai instead?

I don't think two audiences are even intersect in any way shape or form.

Mortal Kombat crossover with TMNT would have been much more hype, especially after Turtles appearance in Injustice 2.

i mean, i loved street fighter for years, but i don't know the lore or character connections, so those characters all fell flat for me anyway. It's just an all around bad book. No fault of the creators, but it's such a dumb crossover I don't know how they could have possibly made it anything other than bad.

Finally got around to reading this. It's a good start up, though the characterization of the Street Fighters just feels off. Not only that but unless the tournament rules prohibit it, it seems the SF characters don't have their special moves. It's odd cause without them, the SF guy are just regular guys the Turtles are fighting.

It felt like whoever the writer was only played Street Fighter a couple of times, or only watched the cartoons and live action movie. Especially now that I'm seeing the Shadaloo Soldiers from the movie in the issue 3 preview.

Another argument against Jennika is that she outnumbers the street fighters. 5 turtles against 4 street fighters? They should have left her out or use her as an excuse to throw in Blanka or maybe even Cammy as a fifth for the SF side. I mean who is Jennika gonna face? If she's just there to watch, then why even come along.
