This should be the captive Splinter gif. Poor guy, for a ninja master he sure got captured and beat up on a lot in the games. That's why I let him kill off Shredder at the end. It's an animated gif, but for some reason it only goes through the animation once and then stops on the final frame. You might have to load the page again if you want to see it move. Is Game Maker easy to use and advance enough to make complex games? I'm planning on making a game myself.
Oh, and Tetsu, I would so love to play your game when it's done. |

Gamemaker is INCREDIBLY easy to use, and game-complexity depends on how much time you spend making it.
For 2-D games anyway. 3-D games require some programming skill. |

Hey, that's a pretty cool list you got there, Tetsu! I like the story too!
My ideas for my game is kinda like yours but different. I already got my list of fighters and moves. EDIT: I just recently started adjusting the colors to give my sprites more depth and make them look less flat. Here's an example... |

Ooh! I LIKE IT! I'm definately looking forward to this game. Let me know when you've mastered GM, so I can send you my fighting-game template.

I'll be helping with it. Were still kinda in the planning stages. We still need to learn how to make a fighting game in Flash O_O

That's kinda Ryo's call not mine but last I heard we want to add voices. I'm sure if she needs talent she will post here but we might already know enough people.

Yes, I've revived a 4-year-old thread
This was my first attempt at a fan game way back in 2005 using GameMaker. It isn't good but in light of all the disappointing TMNT video games to come out recently, I figured it was time to renew the download link for anybody who wants to waste time playing a buggy attempt at a Turtles game. Hey, if nothing else, it has more characters than Smash-Up!
Here's the link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PBHETJ5O Instructions: There are a couple of cut scenes where you just have to sit and let it play through (April getting kidnapped, the Technodrome encounter, and the ending screens). Most of the game controls are context sensitive, changing depending on what the nature of the level is. For the 1st and 2nd stages when you control Raphael you can use the arrow keys to move left, right, up, or down. Just run over the enemies to kill them. And I admit, it looks pretty cheap for Raph to be floating around the whole place. Yes, there are a lot of glitches, but I think most of them just take some getting used to. If a character gets stuck in a wall, keep pressing the directional keys and he should eventually get out. Most characters are designed to bounce against the walls anyway. For the Leonardo level, try not to get hit by Stockman's ray. Get by him and run over Rocksteady to advance. You will get hit by a couple of bullets and bounced around a bit. In the last level, Splinter gives instructions for operating Leo, Don, and Mike. When an enemy attacks high, use Mike. Use Leo against lower enemies, and Don against the enemy who attacks the middle. You have to hold the directional button down when the enemy is charging toward you or you he will overpower you. If you get stuck, Ctrl resets the game. Esc exits. There are at least two different endings: the Good Ending for beating the game, and the Bad Ending for choosing not to continue on the Game Over box. I've tweaked the original game a bit. Any feedback or recommendations for future improvement would be helpful!

Yeah, the instructions for that last level are revealed in the text box. Each turtle is operated by one of the arrow keys. You really have to hold them down to get past the attacks. Quote:
I'll try to upload it for you tomorrow and send you the link.

Hey oldman. I finally got to try the game. It’s pretty nice but as Powder said, the turtle is hard to control. Unless that’s intentional, I’d sugest changing the hero’s movement propierties to match the following values:
Speed: 15 Deceleration: 100 Aceleration: 100 |
