TMNT Adventures CONTINUES after The Forever War!

The long-awaited Forever War wrapped up the all-important Shredder confrontation plot and drew a line under the entire existing TMNT Adventures series, but also gave a new beginning!

Before you is a unique edition. FIVE STORIES and FIVE LEGENDARY ARTISTS from the TMNT Adventures series, both brand new and pulled from oblivion! All this UNDER ONE COVER!

• Jim Lawson and the origin of the Rat King!
• Chris Allan and the origin of April O'Neil!
• Ken Mitchroney and the origin of Cudley The Cowlick!
• Brian Thomas with the never before published story "The Food Pyramid"
• Gary Fields with the revealed story "Toonage Mutant Ninja Turtle". (Yes, yes, the same one that suddenly appeared on PMC40 in ashcan format and now as part of the book in full color)!

As per tradition, four formats:

• Hardcover with wraparound cover by Chris Allan (compared with The Forever War HC)
• Softcover with an illustration by Jim Lawson in the IDW TMNTA Collected Books format
• TMNT Adventures #78-79 in single format with covers by the equally legendary Dan Berger!
• TMNT Adventures #78-79 Ashcans with pure b/w artwork!

The singles will contain only five stories, while the softcover and hardcover editions will expand with 40 additional pages, and include the complete collection of illustrations for the whole series, created by Chris Allan for the Russian TMNTA reprints!

TMNT ADVENTURES CONTINUE!

We are the team that brought you TMNTA: the Forever War, and also TMNT Volume 3 Conclusion (2012), “Odyssey”, “Origin”, “2030” and “The Shredder” all created in participation with the Mirage Studios legends: Kevin Eastman, Jim Lawson, Chris Allan, Frank Fosco, Dan Berger, A.C. Farley, Rick Arthur, Rick McCollum, Bill Anderson, Will Tupper, Andres Ponce and many others! We also created a variety of TMNT fan comic not related to the Mirage or Archie universes.

***

We do a non-profit crowdfunded books, from fans to fans, with a very small print run. We using raised money to pay artists for their work and/or to recover, search for, prepare and print new forgotten TMNT books from 1984-2009.

Please send me direct message, if you’re intersted (it's prefer to email at: demon-alukard@hotmail.com)

I've taken into account the experience of working on The Forever War and the preorder, which lasted almost five years, and now the period between the announcement and the book release will be about 2-3 months. This time is necessary for both crowdfunding and final preparations and proofreadings.

All announcements (along with remain Italian TMNT Books and TMNTIV: Dark Legacy #1 single) will be printed at the same time, no later than August 2024.

Was Forever War meant by Steve Murphy to be the end of TMNT Adventures?

It looks like this is continuing what the epilogue with Null visiting The Shredder in jail and wrapping up plots.

Just to clarify, while I wanted the hardcover of Forever War, I want these two in actual issue form. Is it in Ashcan only or are physical copies in comic form available for #78 and #79?

Never. Well, probably he was going to rewrite it as an "mega" Archie ender when he intended to redo his scripts from scratch in 2009 (we'll never know because he claims to have lost and forgotten all of it) but beyond that, "Forever War" was always just planned as the next TMNTA story arc that just happened to line up with right around when it was getting cancelled. Had TMNTA not been cancelled and Archie not switched out Forever War for the "How Did The TMNT Get their Weapons?" and all, there's no reason to expect it wouldn't have just been onto the next story arc after FW.

Well, if you know about this backup story, you should know about another one that follows, and it also exists for a reason.

Yes, you can preorder this two as a singles, but also you should know, there will be 40 more pages in the book due to Chris Allan's cover gallery.

How It All Began...now there's a deep dive. Nifty.

(funny enough, I named the finale of my ten-part TMNT fanfic novella series "How It All Began")

Hey, so are the 40 more pages compaired to the single issues only made up of this cover gallery? Or are there extended story pages for example?

Only a gallery of Chris Allan's artworks, with events from the beginning till the end of the series. Without any logos, etc.

Gotcha. Artwork without all the logos in it is nice, too.

How much will these softcovers cost? Also what is the pricing for the turtles IV movie series and italo tmnt book 3? Can you tell?

The long-awaited reveal of the final cover for the upcoming TMNT Adventures #79 from the incredible Dan Berger with amazing colors by Dmitry Bobrovnik! As well as the cover of the ashcan edition with Dan's rough artwork.

Fundraising for the publication continues until mid-July.

Sorry, guys, the book delayed a little -- now I'm planning to send it to the printer in September. But actually, almost all meterial is complete except just 4 pages! Plus some coloring/lettering.

Big news! Despite a heavy workload, Chris Allan has completed the April’s Origin story!

This means that preparations for the publication of TMNT Adventures: How It All Began are reaching the finish line. The book will go to the printer in about 3 weeks.

You still can preorder the book!

I'm happy to say that the long-awaited announced book TMNT Adventures: How It All Began is fully completed, and is going into final proofreading. And here's a final preview with fully completed pages from each artist!

***

What is 'How it All Began'? It is an unique edition.

As per tradition, four formats:

• Hardcover with wraparound cover by Chris Allan (compared with The Forever War HC)
• Softcover with an illustration by Jim Lawson in the IDW TMNTA Collected Books format (compared with The Forever War SC)

***

As always, the names of everyone who support the project and make preorder will be printed on the Thanks Page inside the book! Feel free to send DM for more detail and preorder.

P.S. The Forever War is still available to order as well. Don't miss your chance!

The proofreading for TMNT Adventures: How It All Began is complete! All that's left before the collected books go to print is to color the last three pages.

After that, we'll finish the cover (inks and colors) for TMNT Adventures #80, which will be announced exclusively in the singles!

Sneak peek panels from April's Origin story. Incredible layouts and pencils by Chris Allan, inks by me, colors by Dmitry Bobrovnik
