I wonder if it's because Super7's stuff was starting to become more available at retail? Like with NECA, there's a clear distinction between Playmates and them ... but I guess they thought maybe doing a 1:1 replica but on a bigger scale that you can get online or at Best Buy was too close for comfort? And the fact that Playmates also went super hard on reissuing their classic stuff last year. With Mondo, it being a vinyl figure and at that price point was enough to separate it.

Feels like the reissues and new remastered line definitely played a part in Super7 having to back off the direct vintage recreations recently. And back to back 2003 waves instead of alternating will do nothing to alleviate concerns there.

Still hope they can at least get the last few major characters out though.

Found some clarity on the back to back 2k3 waves - this was actually announced months ago at Powercon when they originally gave the every other wave plan in 2023 starting with wave 11 being the first 2k3 wave.

That didn't happen and the first 2k3 wave got pushed to wave 12, while the originally planned wave 12 (Rat King, Rapper Mikey, Nomad Leo, Damaged Foot Soldier) got pulled ahead to be the new wave 11.

So we're getting back to back 2k3 waves from the shuffle, but wave 14 should be vintage again.

Con exclusive items are now listed on Super7's store. Pizza Mikey is already sold out.

I was so focused on getting Scumbug and Pizza Mikey in one shot that I forgot about Ghost Grune.

I also didn't get Pizza Mikey (sold out by the time I was going to check out - Oh, well, there's always NYCC).

But, now, I paid for shipping twice as I returned and ordered Grune (I don't know if it will go up in value, Ghost Jaga certainly did!)

This business practice should be considered illegal and exploitative.

Can't they just consolidate shipping on all orders made during the same week?

Man, I have Cum-bug in my cart, but I just can't seem to pull the trigger and pay the price tag.

Pizza Mikey sold out real quick. I almost waited till after my lunch break at work to grab them. Glad I didn't. I just can't pull the trigger on the van though. Maybe if it was closer to $300 I would have but at almost $500, I am happy with just the standard one in my collection.

EDIT: Van is now sold out too.

I’m shocked at how fast stuff went.

I was trying to figure out the best shipping options (Scumbug + Mikey, free) then the Wagon ($45) because all together was $97 shipped which made no sense.

By the time I got it figured out, Mikey sold out.

I’m not getting the Wagon without him, but I’m also not paying $72 for Scumbug.

So I guess this is where my 100% complete TMNT Ultimates collection ends.

I really thought I wanted pizza Mikey, but when I woke up this morning to find he'd already sold out, I wasn't that disappointed.

That's what I said!

At the very least, I do hope there ends up being some clarification, because I'll be disappointed if we never get Heavy Metal Raph.
Even though it's logical to assume that Wave 14 goes back to vintage, I do still hope for official confirmation at some point in the near (emphasis on near) future. If only because I do have a tendency to get paranoid.

I can’t believe they did Classic Rocker Leo before Hot Spot. Well, I guess Scratch is the priciest figure that everyone knows of. Perhaps NECA will do a ‘what if’ Scratch toon figure in the future.

Which is ironic since Super7 Scratch was selling for $18 on Amazon last time I checked.

Pizza Mikey is back on their website. So, I purchased him.

I do regret paying $21 in shipping for 3 figures (Scumbug, Grune and Mikey).

Still on the fence about possibly grabbing Leo. For those that have gotten any of these pay-gated portraits in other lines, what would we guess it would cost me to pick up that Leo head second-hand (if anyone is even going to sell it by itself)?

I would say the $40-50 USD range. I'm basing this on what I saw when buying the heads from the NECA Movie I and Movie II accessory sets.

Seen some folks post that they got their Pizza Party Wagon.

Box says they’re out of a production run of 250.

I wonder if they will reissue for NYCC.

I'm usually there in person, but on the fence with the Pizza Wagon.

The deco does seem different enough to distinguish from their own Party Wagon and the NECA Turtle van (which I own).

It also has the potential to be a holy grail item.
