My local walmart had the foot soldiers and shredder on clearance for $5. Got two foot soldiers and shredder for the price of 1 regular BST AXN. But honestly they suck. Gummy and too small since I collect 6 inch figures but can't complain too much since I got them for cheap. I did buy the Leo and Raph box set from Walmart just for the comic and that box looks great in the turtle collection so pretty happy about that.

The foot soldier 4 pack is NOT worth the price. $75 for these is ridiculous more power to the people that like them and can afford them but they're collecting dust at my Wal-Mart as they have like 10 of them.

I'm an out of box collector so don't keep them and didn't bother or have the common sense to take a pic. But yeah I was surprised as **** to see them just laying there on a clearance shelf because my Wal-Mart doesn't carry the turtles just the foot soldiers 4 pack. Since they don't carry these figures I'm assuming they just didn't know and got a shipment of them and straight to clearance because I go there almost everyday and never once saw these on the pegs. Sometimes the planets align and a toy collector gets lucky after being raw dogged by the toy Gods on a constant basis for Target or Wal-Mart exclusives.

What sucks is I don't know how many were there and if the turtles were there or Casey Jones and someone bought those and left behind one Shredder and two foot soldiers. It still bugs me not knowing what else was there and if I got the scraps.

There are a couple of people building pyres against this toy line in this thread, so to be honest your claim that you found these on clearance at Wal-mart for 5 bucks when they haven't even proliferated fully to the market yet kind of sounded like hater bull$#!(.

It's a vinyl toyline. Back in the day these used to be rotocast-style figures. A company uses vinyl to keep costs cheap and that's why some people have complaints about the joints on these.

I've got thick skin for these though - I survived (and took huge losses on) the Hot Toys 4" Aliens Snap Kits figures, man. Anyone who knows anything about those.... OMG.

I understand completely. I was surprised seeing these are barely coming out and on clearance. I just lucked out. I think Neca and super 7 set the bar so high on TMNT that all other lines will be criticized and held to those standards. The foot soldier 4 pack from what I've seen at Walmart have some paint blotches that are on nearly all the packs there and I saw that on two of those packs some of the arms are left arms on at least 1 of the foot soldiers now granted it's not exclusive to this line as I've seen the Yoshi Neca two pack one of them had two left feet. I just can't stand the gummy feel of them and their size adding up to be $15 to $16 dollars. I get inflation and all that but they are simply not worth that price point. I'm not hating on them because as you see I've bought them and plan on getting the Donny and Mikey box with comic. They are different and they don't take up much room which is always a plus for any collector.

Thank you for the update. I just ordered Rocksteady and bubble walker Krang.

Oh wow...I just realized that there are 2 non-arcade variants of Bebop. It took me a while to figure that one out. These guys are absolute pros at milking sculpts, outdoing S7 and NECA. I do want to see some more original characters such as Karai, Baxter, Rat King and the Mutanimals. IDW has a rich lore.

They should bring out unique characters that NECA and S7 haven't touched. They almost beat NECA to the market with human B&R and their street-style Turtles will probably lose that competitive edge by the time they come out (especially since NECA has hinted at making them on the Usagi box).

I agree. Now if they could just shore up the vinyl they use so that it's a bit more rigid at the same price point they'd have a real winning line on their hands.

I'm pretty much sticking with whatever represents the Fred Wolf show from this line as it comes, but not digging in on the variants like the Casey facepaint or the "video game" stuff.

The "skin tones" on those are much better than the first style guide release.
