What happens if they havent been here for a year, but still get 1500 posts. Do they still get the custom rank thing?

Sorry, but you need to meet both requirements in order to be able to use a custom rank.

Members gain the ability to use custom ranks when their post counts reach 1500 and the current date is one year or more from their registration dates. The process is automatic, so it doesn't matter how recently they have logged in.

Funny I always thought the Italics were 'offline' So does this mean that Staff members are 'bold'?

Yep, Gold Star and Bold = Staff. Gold star and Italicized bold name = Adimin (Just Krang and Shredder.)

Sorry for the double post...I just hit 1500...nada. I tried EVERYTHING (logging out and back in again, taking a break from posting to harrass TheCure on AIM, etc). Could the fact that I just changed my password and e-mail address have something to do with it?

Edit: I have italics now. I don't have the option to change my rank in User CP yet, though.

Now that you have the italics, the option should be there in your User CP under "Edit Your Details" (it should be the first option listed below the "Edit Email & Password" button). If not, try holding the shift key and reloading that page.
