When I thought they should have build a figures this isn't what I had in mind. Jesus that thing looks horrid. Those would make Satan weep.

Yeah but see the thing is we shouldn't have to be making all these custom toys, they are a toy company it's their job to make products that represent what they are promoting on tv, especially when they pretty much force others to do what they want yet they never follow through.

Maybe this is Playmates way of "getting back" at Mirage and 4kids for dumping on their Teenage Mutant Ninja Babysitter's idea.

Playmates are the ones that wanted to have the ultimate tmnt series that was a mix of Archie and all of that fun stuff, it's the only thing I've been able to say they had any clue as to the right direction to go (even if it needed touched up a bit) since like 1994. |

Wasn't that 4Kids' idea? I thought Ultimate TMNT was Playmates' idea.

That sucks though...I just don't understand why they don't just produce new figures. They are going to sell, so why no release them? Plus, I can't see the plastic costing that much money to distribute. haha It's freakin plastic! It doesn't cost $8.99 so they are making a killing right there. |

so will there be a full sized cyber shredder? or will he be full sized repaint of the movie figure? i'd be more interested in the black digi-turtles from "somethingw icked" than the full-fledged cyber-gear versions.
in a roundabout sort of way, i'm glad the series with archie/ot charcater didn't get made. it would just leave everyone teased with toys that would either never get made or released, or made very poorly. and then there's the problem of finding the things.. some of the mini-mutants look nice, but they're kind of useless to me. i'm considering the extreme sports ones, but i can't find 'em aywhere. i guess i'll have to miss out on blue raspberry splinter too. what was the timeline on when they released the ff and movie figures? did it actually make sense? |
