I went in to try to preorder my Wii today... Stupid Gamestop. Can't reserve it yet.
So in order to not look like a dork, I picked up my first PC game. Dragon's Lair 3D. 8 Bucks. Next is WoW on Thursday. Not sure if that's such a good idea, with Mario next week and all... |

Is the Peach game worth getting or should I just wait for Mario?

If you have the money, get both. If not, Mario Bros. and get Peach later.

Peach served the means of keeping me sedated until Mario comes along. But that first boss pissed me off too much. >_>.
Just picked up WoW. Save me... Last edited by Kid Icarus; 05-11-2006 at 01:40 PM. |

Bought Lego Star Wars and X-Men Legends 2. Both of these at $19.99 each. Great prices for great games.

I bought New Super Mario Bros today! It's awesome! My favorite 2d Mario game of all time! There are also some 3d elements, like when you have to climb gates. The characters also look 3d. I reccomend anyone with a Nintendo DS buy this game. So far It's pretty easy to play.
Edit: I have heard good things about Sonic Rush. Do you personally reccomend it Peanut? If so, that will be the next DS game I buy. I don't have any money left for video games as of right now though. |

Yeah, Sonic Rush is awesome. The sense of speed is great. It's also pretty hard at parts.

Picked up the game today, and I have a few opinions to share...
The game? Excellent, great addition to the series... did it meet my expectations? Not really. It's not a bad thing, the game is fun and all, it's just... I had such high hopes. -Unlike SMW, we can't tell which levels have 2nd exits. I suppose you can assume and explore all you want based on the map, but it gives it a bit more challenge... in which case could be a good thing. -Within three hours of play, I unlocked almost all levels up till world 5, and stopped playing cause I was hungry. The game isn't short by all means, but what annoys me the most is the mini-mario mushroom. It's almost impossible for me to get one into my inventory to use on levels that'll need it for the 2nd exit. What's the deal, more 'exploring' mechanics? -Mario physics... not as responsive as I'd like it to be, but when I played SMW again, Mario was too loose in that game. Here he's a bit tighter, but detinitely not as responsive/sensitive as he was in SMB1-3, which means we can't really pull off skilled/lucky death defying jumps. -Wall jump and over abundance of power-ups make the game fairly easy. Everytime I was about to fall into a pit, I'll just wall jump myself out. Maybe that's a good thing? Enough complaining... either way, great game. Everyone knows the good things, I might as well just point out the bad things... at least in my opinion. |
