FWIW, I recently bought what I thought was a pack of genuine Revoltech joints but turned out to be bootleg. They looked 99.9% identical to the real things, but were nowhere near as durable, and most of the peg stems snapped off (that is, the ones that didn't break in transit).
I wouldn't recommend knowingly picking up any snide Revoltech stuff, chances are it'll be a waste of money. |

oh man! I would really be interested in some reviews on these, I just got my authentic revoltech set last night in the mail, and the are amazing!
but for half the price I wouldn't mind saving to get a bootleg set if they were good. plus the current seller (angela.liang) is the person I bought my second NECA bootleg set from, just got that a couple weeks ago and they packed it really well. this is potentially awesome news!! |

I had $30 in eBay coupons from a game I played so Leo just cost me $1.99. Can't really beat that.

Do these come in the same packaging as the authentic figures? I have an authentic Donnie from Christmas and doubt I will be able to afford the other three. Unless we get reissues.

So I guess they do come in their boxes! Crazy price, even for bootlegs. If these things are even close to the authentic versions, I may have to get them instead cause I highly doubt that I will be getting the authentics anytime soon.

That's just $10 a piece. I've been watching that set since it came up yesterday because my Leo is scheduled to be delivered on the 13th and if he's any good then I'm all in on the full set. I plan to do a detailed "First Impressions" review on him in this thread like I did for the NECA bootlegs to help people decide. Unless of course he's straight up junk, then I'm just going to tell you it's cheap trash and don't waste your duckets.

I myself am a little scared of bootlegs with that many joints. I have a friend who purchased a bootleg figma Link and the plastic was so brittle that she broke an arm off within 15 minutes of opening it.

could it be that the worst case scenario is that we will need to replace all the joints with authentic revoltech ones, because that may be doable!
I am waiting for the review dying with anticipation! |

I just don't understand ebay and why they let things like this go on.

The plastic is either brittle or flimsy in the areas where it counts the most(articulation) and the paint apps are way below standard. Raphael's bandanna peg broke immediately when I touched it. Leonardo came with 2 left upper arm pieces instead of one of each. All of the weapons seem flimsy or rubbery. It's tough for me to recommend against a cheap product if it's good quality. For instance the Neca Bootlegs that come from China are decent quality, and the pros outweigh the cons for sure. However, that's not the case with these bootlegs. They're falling apart and wobbly, unposeable, and have flimsy accessories. Maybe I can find some use customizing these, but I rarely have time for that these days.
