Just saw this today: https://news.toyark.com/2020/10/14/n...nounced-406037

I can’t wait to see the prototypes for this wave next year. The first turtle variants were the best turtle variants out of all of them (minus Movie Star Turtles, of course).

Did anyone on here get the older TMNT ReAction figures from Dorkside Toys for $9.99 during their Black Friday sale last week?

Not I. Even at that price I can't jump into that line. Super7 had a "deal" going as well, B2G1 free or something like that. I saw they raised the price to $18 though.

Had the line hit about 4 years ago I would have had a hard time resisting but now that we've got the NECA movie and toon lines as well as Super7's Ultimates I see no reason to get them.

An Ultimate Turtles set with Mirage colors? That would be great.

S7 could do an Ultimate Ninja Action Turtles set and use the Mirage heads as alternate heads or make Ultimate Mirage Turtles. It works either way.

Super7 doing ANYTHING Mirage related automatically makes me excited for the possibilities. But if you've seen my posts in the Ultimates thread, you already know that I've been hoping they do some Playmates-style versions of Mirage characters that never got Playmates figures.

Does it bug anyone else that the comic figures are just repaints of the original 4 turtles? Those bodies just don't feel like the comic style to me. The package art is nice, but I feel like the figures just don't fit. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see them in person.

They have the Playmates style belts and their accessories are pizza slices. Definitely not very Mirage at all, but I don't think Super7 puts in as much effort into the ReAction line as they do the Ultimates line.

Muckman will definitely be in a future wave, but why would S7 have Turbopork draw Mondo Gecko with his Turbo-charged Sewer Skateboard when the figure does not come with one?!

Still, it’s pretty neat that ReAction Ray Fillet comes packed with Scarfish and Fish Stix (the first ever ReAction minifigures).

that slash concept has me a little worried for the ultimate. the ONE liberty i think they should take with this figure is making the teeth sharp, even though they really werent sharp in the original figure. it just seems like it needs to be that way for the character.

how does everyone else feel about that?

S7 could give Slash the 1990 head and an alternate head with sharp teeth (modeled a little bit after the Archie Slash) or skip the classic figure’s head design entirely and give us an Archie Slash with 1990 Slash colors. It works either way.
