Look I see what you're doing and I disagree. You have issues with BLM, I do too, but just so you know over 90% of those protests were peaceful. And the ones that were violent often popped off due to outside forces. Like opportunists, provocateurs, one could argue antifa, the police etc. I won't say violence was never there fault, but you know, Remember January 6th.

Mona Lisa is a wretched character but don't put things onto her that she hasn't even done yet, and likely never will. The character doesn't have a violent bone in her body.

And on top of that, the citizens have every right to be violent right now. They are mutated freaks abandoned by their government for over half a year. Sure it won't do them any good but it would make sense. Beating up Hob is what the turtles should have done months ago. So what the hell do you care about property damage in this context? What a weird angle to take.

People hear "protest" and jump towards BLM symbolism. There aren't even any black people in this comic. So f*ck you.

I actually do have some fan fictiony ideas on how to improve Mona Lisa.

I am not going to share them in a thread because:

1. While I think it would improve her, much of what's going on with these ideas would not be good writing according to my own standards.
2. I know such a direction could easily be more controversial than what we actually have.
3. I know some of the writers have accounts here and I don't want to give them any bad ideas.

Still, it's not too far off from what some actual comic book writers have done in the past and have gotten praise for. And despite my conviction that breaks some fundamentals for good writing, it's probably what I would do myself if I got to take over the book. It's terrible for an initial development, it's just that I think it would lead to a more interesting character to work with down the line.

If you're interested in finding out, just PM me and I'll tell you what the idea is.

Not gonna lie, Renet playing the role of Lord Simultaneous is pretty great.

I'm really not a fan of how Mutant Town has been used as of late to be honest. I was hoping for a Wild West frontier town vibe and instead we got protests and elections. Fun stuff.

But hey, we've got plot again. Things are happening. THINGS!
