God I missed classic Mirage Karai's look. I guess we'll remember it with Tournament Fighters coming back in the Cowabunga Collection.

Funny story, I was lucky enough to find a Mirage comic in the wild back in the day, the one with Karai on the cover. So when the game came out I already knew who she was. The funny part is I assumed Aska musta been someone from Mirage too, just in some issue I missed out on.

Anyways, it's cool to see Shredder actually making his infamous armor.

Arseniy wasn't inking any pages for 2-3 months. Now he is again. And I've brought in Powder to ink other pages and he's already gotten a good amount done (also, he's doing a bangup job). We're still only about halfway there.

Here's a freshly inked page from Arseniy I posted to the campaign, depicting the aftermath of a "classic" moment in Mirage.

Things are moving again. Not super fast, but much improved from before. We'll get there.

Really psyched for this book. Do you predict it'll be finished sometime around 2023?

I'd say late Spring/early Summer would be the latest. With or without as many inked pages from Arseniy as I'd prefer but hopefully with.

Totally. And if it needs more time, it needs more time. Delays are annoying, but It'll still be worth it in the long run. Same with BOTW 2 which has had constant delays.

Actually, they're kind of moving super fast again. Just a couple more batches of pages and we'll be good on the inking front.

I tried to twist his arm a little to get him to do like a short story but no, he's very much done with comics and doesn't foresee a return to it.

That pin-up looks awesome. Dan Berger is the man. Perhaps some day he will change his mind and make some new Gutwallow comics, or at least publish a collected volume. I'm still missing a few issues of it.

I'm very happy that I got in on this. Looking forward to reading it.

I already felt indescribably fortune that Berger drew my short story in Odyssey. Now I feel positively blessed. I do hope he comes back to comics some day, but I understand if he needs to rest from it.
