Fugitoid issue

Is there some weird marketing reason IDW put the Fugitoid issue in the -Utrom Empire TPB? You'd think finding a spot for it in the -Ultimate- volumes would make more sense.

There's two reasons. First, I think it basically boiled down to Fugitoid #1 technically being an "unnecessary" issue. The story can be understood just fine without it, and including it could have bogged down the pacing, so they opted to omit it.

The second reason, I think, is because a standard IDW TPB is made up of 4 issues, and Utrom Empire was only 3 issues long. So they bundled Fugitoid with it to make up for the extra space, and because it was ostensibly related since both stories featured the Fugitoid character.
