Witness me

Some new stuff. It's Batman and the Turtles, obviously inspired from the upcoming crossover.

and a colored mask variant.

In hindsight, maybe I should have had a blue and grey suit Bats with the colored masks

I like those a lot, especially Nintendotello, or is that Donatendo? Their skin texture is very pleasing to look at.

Thanks
I just had to keep Donatello's Gameboy tracker and the SNES controller. But I felt they looked a bit hidden away in his design, so I made them much easier to spot... I hope.

I just finsihed a April. So I could do a line-up of a more ideal height for the Turtles, at least to me. The Turtles' are close to their actors height compared to each other, but I made the Turtles themselves shorter then April, but not to an extreme degree, so the hypothetical mo-cap and actor reaction wouldn't be too jarring.

Woah, you definitely improved on the Bay-verse models!

I really the effort that you put into designing the plastron parts of their shells, and that was really neat for you to make Donny resemble 2k12 Donny by letting him keep that gap in his teeth along with his height in comparison to his brothers. *At least that is what I'm seeing from where I'm at*
Also, I dig that Leo grin and he too looks really good, as does Mikey and Raphael.

The plastrons is just a really simplified take on a real-life plastron, how it shapes and connects to the carapace. It got a bit tricky with Don, as the plastrons do look a bit elongated on then with the more human proportions the Turtles have in this design. But it's mostly just a matter of placing the scutes in a fitting manner so the look a bit even.

I wanted to keep the actors height between each other as close as I could.

And Howard is a tall fellow And the gap, I just had to have it included.

probably not. Shredder is just wearing in the trailers a very simplified suit, and I'm not touching the thing from the 2014 with a ten foot poker. And without any mo-cap pictures of Danny Woodburn, I'm not doing a Splinter.

Felt like doodling something that was related to Iaijutsu, so I ended up sketching this based off some image searching.

inked and slapped on some colors. And a half-assed background cause it looked a bit boring all blank.

after my pet peeve image with Raph and the Sai, I did the rest of the Turtles, here's all four collected without the pet peeve text.

My pet peeves are of course:
Sai are not knives or daggers, its a truncheon weapon for striking and trapping.

A Daisho is a short sword and a long sword combo, ie a Katana and a Wakizashi. There is no such thing as "twin Katana" or dual wielding 2 katana swords. And straight bladed "Ninjato" are completely false weapons fabricated in the 1960's.

A Bo don't break easily, it's meant to crush bones and ruin swords.

The Nuchaku are primarily a flail used as a grapple implement, dual wielding kinda hinder a lot of it's uses, limits it's attacks and most TV depictions of the 'Chucks are Freestyle. Completely harmless in actual combat and is just flashy, even Bruce Lee's movies are Freestyle. The Nunchaku is actually a really terrible weapon, hence why it doesn't have any traditional Okinawan Katas.

Terrible as in they suck? Makes sense to me - they look like they're good for showing off, hitting unarmed people and hurting yourself.

That's a really nice four shot; I always like the colours you use.

Yeah. They are more or less ineffective when used as a fancy spinning tool. And other weapons that do the same as the Nunchaku is made to do, do it better

Like actual formal Nunchaku is more like this.

Which has minimal spinning, used as an actual flail and is way more effective with 1 pair instead of dual-wielding.

That's pretty cool.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like if you hit something other than fresh air, the free end wound bounce back and swing straight into your hand.

Was doing some sketches and I kinda dug this one, so I outlined and colored it.

There's some technique to it, so it doesn't bounce back and hurt the user instead.
