The Blu-rays of "Justice League Unlimited: The Complete Series" and "Thundercats (2011): The Complete Series" that I bought online came today.

I picked up The Man With No Name Trilogy ("A Fistful of Dollars", "For A Few Dollars More", and "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly") on Blu-ray.

I got The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly just a couple of months back on Blu-ray/DVD. It still holds up with rich characterization, scenery, and instrumentals.

Speaking of classics, I picked up "The Ten Commandments" & "Spartcaus" on 4k. Amazing transfers on those.

But that aside, your mention of the western reminded me - loose connection, I know - but it reminded me of how bad I want a high quality transfer of "The Last Man Standing". Some amazing gunfights in that flick, man.

I have Spartacus as a special edition DVD. A piece of classic Hollywood!

I have not heard of The Last Man Standing.

OMG man.... absolutely awesome 1930's era Bruce Willis gangster flick. But it takes place in Texas, and it really is more of a small-town, Western gun-fight flick.

It's purely a testosterone-driven flick that has a surprising amount of unacknowledged artistic merit in the costuming, sets and character personalities on screen-on. Now I'm not saying that it's a work of art by any means, but it's definitely better than Rotten Tomatoes would have you believe, and even if none of that could be agreed upon, the gunfights at least are terrific. The movie is greatly enhanced too by a good, bassy stereo given the soundtrack and every round that is triggered off.

Leo, have you ever listened to J's reviews? It would have been cool to get commentary on every episode of Justice League, but this guy covers all of the DCAU episode by episode. I don't neccessarily agree with everything, but his criticisms are fair. Also, as much as a Bat Rogue Mark as I am, gotta love the Cademus arc and how Luthor as tiring as he can be is constantly reinvented with badassery.

I am really hit or miss with those. I enjoyed Commando for example and the ensemble The Expendables for example, but anything that is blood and guts is not for me, I prefer cartoon violence style of violence.

I haven't, actually, I'm falling way behind on my YouTube-watching but I might give that a look.

Strap in, its 14 hours covering all four Batman animated related films and all of the seasons of all of the different shows. I watched the 8 DCAU seasons I enjoyed(3 Batman: TAS, JL). I listened to it during workouts for more than a week. Pop in the earbuds and give it a listen.

Batman: The Television Series - The Complete Third Season DVD came on Saturday. So now I have the complete Adam West show, finally.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Seasons 5, 6 and 7 all came today even though I ordered them from different sellers. That's pretty neat. So now I have all the DVDs for that series that are available. Hopefully someone will do an authentic release of the final two Seasons so I don't have to buy bootlegs. I hate when series get incomplete releases, especially when there's only one or two missing.

Snoopy Collection
Speed

Snoopy Collection actually comes out on Tuesday (my birthday), but it arrived in my mailbox today. I had the double feature that just included A Boy Named Charlie Brown and Snoopy Come Home, but I got it since it offers digital codes. I'll consider it an early birthday present to myself.

I had the five star release of Speed on DVD and the movie on Blu-ray, but I sold them some years back since I thought I could stand to give them up. Then I've been reading about how great the picture quality of the 4K was. So I figured I'd buy it and see for myself. It really isn't bad. I actually got it last week, but I'm only now posting about it since I got something new today.

This came out the year I was born and I haven't seen it. Figured it was time to change that.

Robocop is great and inspired so many things after it. Whenever you see cyborg cops, it all started here.

Robocop 2 isn't as good as the first but decent. Avoid Robocop 3 at all costs.

There was also an animated series.

Robocop was great - I remember seeing it as a kid, but the truth is that it was so bloody and gorey that I can't believe it got the corporate traction that it did with kids.

It was a different era.

I finally got around to picking up Thundercats 2011. It's one of the best animated series I've ever seen. It's ending was incredibly disappointing. I still wish they'd do a CN Movie to properly finish it.

I keep both of those on stand-bye all the time. Such great shows. I've seen them so many times that nowadays I just put them on as something great in the background while I'm busy with something.

I am rewatching Thundercats 2011 now though, beginning to end. I can't believe that show isn't regarded as one of the best animated series of all-time. The animation style, the truly meaningful story content. Even the one or two filler-episodes are emotionally moving. God, that damn Petulars episode? WTF is that?!? It's an animated series for God's sake! Thundercats 2011 is amazing.

Aaaaaaaand... Cheetara was So Hawt. Can't leave that out. Pumyra, too. "Meow", indeed.

Show was pretty good. I didn't love some of the deviations they made to the lore but it was altogether a very well-produced show. Kids not buying the toys killed it.

Most of said toys are still reasonably cheap to find online, too. I picked up a factory-fresh 2011 Cat's Lair playset at the flea market over here for twenty bucks last year.

Did they make a cat's lair for that and I never knew it?!??!? I've been filling in some holes in my collection over the last week - I just got a factory fresh Mumm-Ra car (whatever the hell that was called) and I picked up two Tower of Omens playsets which I'm going to put together for a display theme sometime later this year.

if you didn't mean "Cat's Lair" you might've meant the Tower of Omens, but if you did mean Cat's Lair then that's another one I'd need to hunt down. It would be amazing if that short lived line managed to fudge out two playsets in a year....

You're correct, I misspoke. Tower of Omens indeed.
