Yes, being the daughter of Leonardo and Karai has its perks, as Yoko is privy to receiving training in ninjutsu from both the Hamato clan and the foot clan. But it also grants her access to important information on high profile targets.


But her parentage also led to her inheriting her father's Gung ho attitude and her mother's impulsiveness.

Where there are Karai clones, the makers of those said clones aren't far behind. And Yoko finds herself in quite a lot more trouble than she thought.


Yeah, that mask is undeniably influenced by Spider-man's black suit. As I always loved those comics and the grit they have.


As she's caught red-handed by the 1987 Baxter Stockman, Yoko makes a split second decision, aided no doubt by her many years of training.


Kunai can be just as deadly as a Katana, certainly when being thrown at point-blank range. I tried not to make this scene too gory, but it's very obvious what happened here.


Yeah, to attack a ninja head on is a BAD idea, you ought to think that Baxter Stockman would have learned by now.

Picking up straight where we left off. Yoko finds herself facing Kraang Subprime.


Yeah, so Subprime couldn't be mutated back into her previous Utrom form, but that didn't mean that Baxter Stockman couldn't do SOMETHING to help out.

I initially wanted this chapter page to be colored with PC, to make it look like the eighties Archie comics, but as I was drawing the eighties logo, my mind was changed.


So here we have Kraang Subprime in her current form as a middle-aged woman and as the Kraang commander she used to be.

And so we're back in the 1987 Turtles' dimension, where the events of the Red Sky seasons have happened, stranding Krang and Shredder in Dimension X.


But Lord Dregg actually did Subprime a huge favour by sending them there, since it gave them access to the 2012 series Baxter Stockman's lab.


Drawing Subprime with that half long, half short hair, reminds me a lot of Phil Oakey of the Human League, look him up if you don't know who that is.


In page 430, just after Yoko took out the eighties Baxter Stockman, Subprime exclaimed that she ruined everything.


So what was going on, why would Subprime say that? Time for some answers.

As Yoko and Kraang Subprime continue their battle, the latter reveals details on the safety feature Stockman installed in her body to keep her from killing him.


Of course, none of that matters to Yoko, who points out something about Subprime's new moniker she picked for herself.


Yeah, I'm not one to toot my own horn, but I was just so into it when drawing this page, the MOJO was there and it shows.

As Splinter would say: "The best way to get an edge on your opponent is to distract them."


Changing into her serpent form, sure counts as a way for Yoko to distract Kraang Subprime.

As Yoko's fight against Kraang Subprime intensifies, she thinks back on every single time her family shared information about her.


Yeah, Casey Jones in his fourties was a lot of fun to do. As was Rad Brad in his sixties, for him, I actually looked up some recent pictures of Chuck Norris, seeing as how Chris Bradford was based on him in the first place.

In the last page Casey Jones was quoted as saying "Kraang Subprime? Everybody shall tell you the same thing..." and here's what he said continued.


During their encounter, Yoko has received blow after blow, but if Subprime thought she got the better of Yoko, she has another thing coming.


Time for the Spider-man mask to return.

So that imminent death that Kraang Subprime is facing, was is it exactly, time for a little flashback.


This is also a flashback to page 122 when Kraang Subprime, after getting a new robot body from Baxter Stockman, decides to kill him right there and then. Well, here's the same Kraang Subprime but a different Baxter Stockman, will that also mean a different outcome this time?


If the original1987 series has taught us anything about Baxter Stockman, it's that he's not to be underestimated. And that many made the mistake of having underestimated him.


Now if the 2012 series has taught us anything about Kraang Subprime, it has to be that there's nothing he hates worse than being out manoeuvred. And here that is exactly that Baxter Stockman did, but did completely, no way out for Subprime.

I don't know who that is. But I based that gang more on those stereotypical wannabe gangsta rappers who brag about drive by shootings while they're actually a bunch of mommas boys. Certainly, when they're confronted by somebody mightier than they are, somebody like Leo.

The best kind of spy or double agent is the one who doesn't stand out, the one who fades into the background. Same with Kraang Clones, unless you know what you're looking for, you wouldn't see one if you passed them in the street.

Here is the song from the album with the same name. I'm pretty sure that the ones who only know Kiss from their Disco hit "I was made for loving you" would be in for quite a shock when they hear this one for the first time. Much came from Eric Carr (The guy on top with the fox make up) who's powerhouse drumming transformed Kiss in a heavier band.

Much like people who know the TMNT only from the 1987 series, when they find out how dark and gritty the Mirage series was.

So Kraang Subprime's upgraded cybernetics have a very limited shelf life. But that doesn't mean that she isn't dangerous. Let alone that she's on her own.


Yeah, Yoko calling Kraang Subprime "Obaa-san" I guess I don't need to explain what that would rile the latter up even more, even if she doesn't know what that word means.

Okay, the concept of this one was simple, depict Yoko with her parents in the background. And have the contrast of very detailed and as basic as possible to tell the story here.


I'd say, I succeeded here.

Faced with an overwhelming amount of Karai clones, Yoko has to make split second decisions if she wants to escape with her life intact. But just one second of looking in the other direction is all that it takes...


Picking up directly from where we left off, the karai clones finally succeed in landing a punch, a stab, and a barrage of blows on Yoko. But it isn't at all what the latter suspected would happen.


What on earth is going on?


Yeah, I loved doing the Super Deformed scenes, showcasing just how harmless the attacks are.

So in the previous page, the Karai clones attacked Yoko en masse, but it didn't have the desired effect.

*A punch in the jaw felt like a pillow

* A stab from a dagger felt like a bee sting

* A barrage of hits to the face felt like soap bubbles.

So what's the deal?


Turns out the answer is very simple.

Yoko took out the Karai clones like the blade of a lawnmower took out the blades of grass.


Kraang Subprime, who also is nobody's fool also begins to realize that this is no coincidence, Baxter Stockman made them this weak on purpose, of course, he had every reason to. Being slighted once again, Subprime goes all super saiyan on Yoko.

With an increasingly unhinged and very dangerous Kraang Subprime on her heels, Yoko decides enough is enough, teenage pride be damned, she NEEDS help.


"Dono" is a Japanese honorific that's in between "San" and "Sama". I figured that Yoko, being who she is as the daughter of the former leaders of both the Foot and the Hamato Clans, has quite a bit of status within her subordinates in both clans.

Picking up where we left off, Yoko's situation is getting worse by the second. And although as a kunoichi and as a sixteen-year-old, she has stamina to spare, she's rapidly running out. Something that Kraang Subprime is also well aware of.


And just when Yoko realized she had very little left, help arrives.


Yeah, anybody who knows about the Image series of TMNT "Urban legends" shall recognize that large panel.
