Apparently, he long suffered from Ventricular Tachycardia due to Myotonic Dystrophy type II.

I always try to envision the voices of the voice actors when working on my fan comic. The scenes with Kraang Subprime are the most fun to do because of envisioning Gottfried's voice just ranting and raving away.

Rest in peace, you funny man.
