My most anticipated Mirage NECA figure to date. I'm beyond stoked that he comes with the really unhinged monster-like face. It's my absolute favorite look for him, like a deranged living mummy from an arcade game.

Also, you can see how well this figure will translate to a Tournament Fighters repaint. Wonder if those will still happen eventually.

Accidentally in the sense that Kevin spilled the beans that the figure is being made by NECA before NECA announced it.
Kinda like how Sakai said that he has been doing art approvals for his characters beyond Usagi for NECA before NECA has said that so much they are doing an Usagi comic line

Of course. Jacketed Karai would be great, with a bow and arrow and sword. OR I'd be fine with black catsuited Karai. "Shredder Karai" would be a very distant third. If we're to get ANYONE else as Shredder, it should be Raphael.

I hope they can capture her look in CaW, with the lengthy limbs as bony structure. She didn’t really look like Shredder and you could kind of tell.

It is strange though to think of scale. Will she be the same size as the current Mirage Saki? Hopefully they do have a new, beefier version of him to go alongside this soon.

I think this is a pretty cool choice though because I didn’t see it coming. Other deep cuts I’d love to see would be Stockman in cyborg form from volume 2 or Raphael as Shredder from the Image run.

It's a weird choice. And it wouldn't even be like they're saving money recycling bodies because they'd still have to sculpt the boobs and all and not have her look mannish.

I hope it's not something like, "We don't think a Karai figure will sell, but a Karai SHREDDER figure... hmmm."

Not that weird unless you’ve got collector OCD or something. I imagine they just saw it and thought it’d make a badass figure which it probably will.

They did just do a last ronin Karai so I can imagine why they’d want to put a spin on it if they are going to do another comic Karai so soon. You do need to sell these things and I imagine the Shredder armor will help it do so.

I wouldn’t be shocked if it shared a bunch of parts with Last Ronin Karai. That figure was made so her abdomen could easily be swapped out.
